It just will not go in! Even the normally deadly Jermain Defoe can't find a way past Ben Foster. He's played in and has only the keeper to beat from five yards, but Foster sticks out a boot and repels the shot.

And now West Brom almost fluke on at the other end! Darren Fletcher's overhit free-kick nearly catches out a back-pedalling Vito Mannone, but he does well to recover and tip it over.

I thought that was in! Fabio Borini jinks inside onto his right foot in the area, and curls a shot goalward, but Ben Foster produces a brilliant sprawling save.

A change apiece. Victor Anichebe replaces Salomon Rondon for West Brom, and Dame N'Doye replaces Wahbi Khazri for Sunderland.
