  6. Loss won't hurt Europa chances - Klopppublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 11 May 2016

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 BST)

As we all know, Liverpool currently have one eye on their Europa League final date with Sevilla next Wednesday. So they'll be desperate to win tonight in order to head to Basel in tip-top form, right? Not so, says Big Jurg.

"I would prefer if Thursday next week, we have won two games against Chelsea and West Brom, and we are heading back to Liverpool with the cup - that would be all we want but it doesn't work like this," Klopp said.

"If we lose the two next games I will go to Basel still confident we can win this game. There is no fixed rule which says if you win your last two games you will win your final."

  7. It's not Terry's...published at 19:44 British Summer Time 11 May 2016

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 BST)

One man is notable by his absence from tonight's fixture. Yes, after 703 games, Chelsea's captain, leader, legend John Terry is set to miss the last two games of what could be his final season after being sent off against Sunderland.

"He has been training in recent days," Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink said. "Of course, when you come on the pitch for training after being sent off it's not the most beautiful face. He started to lift up his morale and trained okay.

"Of course, not being there in the last two games is a blow for him and for us."

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 BST)

Despite having the Europa League final on the horizon, Liverpool name a strong-looking line-up with nine changes from the second-string XI that started against Watford. Only Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno survive - Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge all return in a team with plenty of firepower.
