Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink: "It is important for the whole stadium to end well against the new champions against the old champions. It is a beautiful scenario and hopefully we can end with a win.

"I don't wish Claudio Ranieri well for the game. He rang me after the Tottenham gave but we want to fight for a win.

"This week there has been conversations with club and John Terry and he wants to think about it. Let's keep the hand on the egg."

Hand on the egg? What on earth is he on about there?!

West Brom v Liverpool (15:00 BST)

West Brom are unchanged from the side that drew with Bournemouth last time out as Tony Pulis opts against promoting some of the club's youth players.

Striker Saido Berahino is on the bench as Salomon Rondon continues in attack.

West Brom XI: Foster, Olsson, Yacob, Evans, Gardner, McClean, McAuley, Fletcher, Dawson, Rondon, Leko.

Subs: Myhill, Chester, Lambert, Berahino, Sandro, Roberts, Field.

The big news for Liverpool is on the bench rather than in the starting line-up.

Captain Jordan Henderson is among the substitutes after sustaining knee ligament damage  in April with striker Danny Ings also on the bench.

Adam Bogdan starts in goal, Joe Allen is in midfield and Christian Benteke starts up front as Jurgen Klopp names a pretty much second-string side with one eye on Wednesday's Europa League final.

Liverpool XI: Bogdan, Flanagan, Skrtel, Lucas, Smith, Stewart, Allen, Brannagan, Ibe, Ojo, Benteke.

Subs: Mignolet, Henderson, Ilori, Ings, Randall, Canos, Chirivella.

  16. Jenkins bullish on Guidolinpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 15 May 2016

Swansea v Man City (15:00 BST)

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

"While Manuel Pellegrini bids farewell to Manchester City with his final match in charge today, this is the start of a new chapter for Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin.

"Having been appointed on a short-term contract in January, the Italian signed a new two-year deal earlier this week. The decision raised some eyebrows, as former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers had held talks about a possible return to the Liberty Stadium.

"But Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is rather bullish as he writes about Guidolin’s new contract in his match programme notes.

"Jenkins says: 'The decision to allow him to continue in his role was easier than has been reported in the media over the last few weeks.

"'Despite all the negative speculation surrounding the possible change in manager, the relationship between myself and Francesco has remained first class.'"

    Watford v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    Tony Husband
    BBC South Today sports editor

"Quique Sanchez Flores will be able to walk away from Watford proud of his achievements.

"True, they have lost seven of their last 10 games amid a major dip in form, but Flores took them as high as seventh at one stage this season and, of the promoted clubs, they were safe first.

"It hasn't kept him in a job but should ensure he gets another one.

"Sunderland have been consistent in the sense that for three years they've flirted dangerously with the drop and then secured safety.

"After giving Sam Allardyce some sleepless nights over the winter, they found their feet this spring.

"One defeat in 10, a settled line-up and Jermain Defoe among the goals.

"Black Cats fans must be hoping they mix it up a bit more next season!"

The battle for fourth place today is made further interesting by the fact it's quite possible that whichever manager achieves it won't be there to enjoy it.

We all know Manuel Pellegrini is leaving Manchester City to be replaced by Pep Guardiola this summer. And Louis van Gaal at United, well, who knows? It depends which newspaper or website you read and on which day.

Can either Pellegrini or Van Gaal consider it a job well done if they clinch Champions League qualification? Or has it been a disaster to not be in the title mix?

Which one of the rivals do you fancy to seal fourth today?
