West Brom v Liverpool (15:00 GMT)

West Brom have had their feet up on the dashboard and cruise control engaged for some time.

The Baggies - safe and sound in midtable - have gone eight games without a win as their campaign coasts towards the summer.

Captain Darren Fletcher completes a full house of league starts this season. He has just picked up a player of the season award on the pitch.

Had Liverpool beaten Manchester City at Cardiff in February, then their place in the second-tier European competition would already be banked.

But they didn't. So it isn't.

Instead a sixth-place finish is Liverpool's only chance of passport to the continent via the league.

They need to beat West Brom, Southampton to fail to win, West Ham to lose, and they have to overhaul West Ham - currently two better off - on goal difference.

Yeah, maybe it is better to focus on Sevilla and Wednesday.

West Brom v Liverpool (15:00 BST)

West Brom are unchanged from the side that drew with Bournemouth last time out as Tony Pulis opts against promoting some of the club's youth players.

Striker Saido Berahino is on the bench as Salomon Rondon continues in attack.

West Brom XI: Foster, Olsson, Yacob, Evans, Gardner, McClean, McAuley, Fletcher, Dawson, Rondon, Leko.

Subs: Myhill, Chester, Lambert, Berahino, Sandro, Roberts, Field.

The big news for Liverpool is on the bench rather than in the starting line-up.

Captain Jordan Henderson is among the substitutes after sustaining knee ligament damage  in April with striker Danny Ings also on the bench.

Adam Bogdan starts in goal, Joe Allen is in midfield and Christian Benteke starts up front as Jurgen Klopp names a pretty much second-string side with one eye on Wednesday's Europa League final.

Liverpool XI: Bogdan, Flanagan, Skrtel, Lucas, Smith, Stewart, Allen, Brannagan, Ibe, Ojo, Benteke.

Subs: Mignolet, Henderson, Ilori, Ings, Randall, Canos, Chirivella.

There is no escaping Europa League in Liverpool's thoughts.

    Wednesday's final against Sevilla dominates.

But if they come a cropper in that showpiece, then a win today at the Hawthorns maybe the result that actually guarantees them European football next season.
