    ICELAND KNOCK ENGLAND OUT

I saw an Iceland fan interviewed on TV this morning and he said that Iceland would win as 'England will bottle it, like they always do.'

In fairness he had a point...

David Simpson: England. Technically inept. Collapsed in a heap. Pathetic. Play like Iceland. Support like Iceland. Be passionate like Iceland

Luke: Roy gone along with Rooney and rest of the starting XI. Bring back those that got us there and drop the two-month wonders!

Thomas Wright: Surely Hodgson has to be sacked... Poor performance from FA. Need the best manager in the world..

The slow hand clap celebration from the Iceland players and fans looks and sounds brilliant. Freddie Mercury inspired?

England players should be ashamed of themselves. The second half performance was nothing short of atrocious.

The scenes of celebration in one corner of the Stade de Nice are in stark contrast to the rest of the ground.

It's hard to praise Iceland without coming across as patronising sometimes but for a country so small this is a phenomenal achievement.

They were behind inside four minutes! And won. Comfortably in the end.

What a flabbergasting result! The England bodies are dumped on the ground, Gary Cahill is in tears.

The Iceland players run to their fans to celebrate. What a momentous win for Iceland, what a huge result in Euroepan football!

Seismic. Fair play to the men in blue. They defended heroically.

Scott Jackson: I don't like Roy's tactics but to be fair there is only so much you can do as a manager. The players have been poor tonight

Josh Hammond: England players acting like playing for your country is a chore, not an honour. Where's the passion and intensity?
