Manager Jim McIntyre couldn't have written a better script. An early goal and Dundee struggling against Hamilton. A second here for County could seal the deal and in Alex Schalk they have a striker who looks on top form.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Dundee United 0-1 Inverness CT

Inverness continue to show no mercy to Dundee United and look the more likely to score next. Ross Draper's long-range shot is pushed wide for a corner by Eiji Kawashima before the Japanese goalkeeper is tested again by a Gary Warren header.

  5. Dundee United 0-1 Inverness CTpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Mixu Paatelainen is far from happy with the way his side have begun the match. He's yelling instructions from the touchline, with Guy Demel on the receiving end of much of those. There's a big home support inside Tannadice today and they will feel they deserve better than they're seeing thus far. The travelling Caley Thistle fans, by contrast, are a lot more content.

The goal-hungry Kilmarnock faithful have the goal they so craved. There was a palpable sense of relief in the wild celebrations. Kris Boyd with just his fourth goal of the campaign

  8. Ross County 1-0 Partick Thistlepublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Quote Message

Thistle pressing to try and get back into this without creating too much threat on Fox's goal. A long way to go, but Schalk's early strike has County in command and on course for the top six as things stand.

  11. Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Quote Message

Both teams cancelling each other out so far, both playing similar 4-2-3-1 formations. No real chances for either side so far with Magennis playing wide on the right and Boyd through the middle. The level of quality not overly high so far

Jonathan Sutherland, BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

GOALpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Dundee United 0-1 Inverness CT (Miles Storey)

It is all too easy for Inverness. The Dundee United defence is all at sea and Miles Storey has an easy tap in from close range after Ross Draper's cut-back.

  14. Hamilton Accies 0-0 Dundeepublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Quote Message

Hamilton Accies really taking the game to Dundee in the opening 10-15 minutes, with Greg Docherty closest to scoring for the hosts. Both teams are playing attacking formations and the artificial surface at New Douglas Park was well watered before the match

  18. Ross County v Partick Thistlepublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Quote Message

All to play for in Dingwall. A win could earn a top-six finish for either side, which would be a tremendous achievement. It's out of their hands if Dundee win, but the last thing both sides want is to come off knowing a win would have clinched a place in the top half.

Martin Dowden, BBC Scotland in Dingwall

  19. Dundee United v Inverness CTpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

Dundee United are unchanged, while Caley Thistle welcome back the influential Greg Tansey in place of Liam Hughes in midfield.
