Heart in mouth there as Knockaert went down, we were all waiting for the linesman's flag. It went up and then eventually he signals for a corner.

It hasn't got a must-win feel on it this game at the moment. You wouldn't put it in the frantic category just yet. It's not been a boring game, it's been intriguing. But, it's not been the game I thought it was going to be.

For those of you wondering, Steve Claridge played five games for Brighton between November and December 2004, when the Seagulls were struggling for strikers in the Championship.

He failed to find the net during his spell in Sussex.

Defender-turned-forward Adam Virgo topped the scoring charts for Brighton with eight league goals that season, and subsequently secured a move to Scottish giants Celtic.

Wakey, wakey Brighton. It's been a sleepy second half for them so far and they haven't really started. It's a bit of shooting practice for Derby at the moment as David Stockdale hasn't had to move for any of them.

  14. Brighton 0-0 Derbypublished at 50 mins

The Rams test Brighton stopper David Stockdale twice in quick succession.

First Hughes, and then Johnny Russell try their luck from range but Stockdale is equal to both efforts.

He's looking for an 18th clean sheet of the season. Derby have been on top since the break.

Sean Dyche will just be concentrating on his own side. That's the way he's been all season and he won't be changing it today. In an ideal world, they'll be wanting Derby to win and then it makes it easier for themselves.

Remember, we'll have coverage of Burnley v QPR, which kicks off at 16:45 BST, following the Brighton game.

Brighton need to have that little bit more composure. Chris Hughton will be very pleased with the half. For me it's good to be pumped up. Derby are a strong team they are defending well. As the game goes on Beram Kayal will have more pace.
