If Hull were to get the first goal I think it could be party time. If Derby could get it, and they've made a positive start, that might filter around the stadium. It's still a huge ask even if they do get the first goal."

Reaching 200 games in charge of a club is not something to be dismissed, especially in today's era where managers of some clubs seem to have shorter shelf-lives than half the products in your local supermarket.

And tonight sees the former Manchester United centre-half do just that at Hull - this marks his double century of games as the Tigers boss.

And he is hoping to move one step closer to a fourth promotion from the Championship of his managerial career, having twice steered Birmingham City to the top flight before winning automatic promotion with the Tigers in 2013.

It should have been done and dusted by now, but Manchester United's postponed game against Bournemouth on Sunday means we have some extra Premier League action for you this evening.

The equation is simple for United fans - win 19-0 and it's Champions League football next season.

  14. "This tie isn't over"published at 19:24

    Hull v Derby (3-0 agg, 19:45 BST)

Hull boss Steve Bruce has warned his players against complacency tonight.

"This tie isn't over," the former Sunderland and Birmingham manager said.

"We've seen strange things happen in football. We have to guard against that.

"We've given ourselves a great opportunity, but that is all it is at this stage.

"Derby will want to put things right and we'll be wary of that. I'll make sure that nobody is complacent."

When you get thumped 3-0 at home, something has clearly gone wrong - but not Derby's team selection, according to boss Darren Wassall.

Wassall has defended his decision to bring Bradley Johnson in place of the injured George Thorne and play Will Hughes in a deeper role in the first-leg defeat.

He also said he did not feel his attacking changes were made too late in the game.

Well, I'm sure we'll see plenty of attacking intent from the Rams this evening in their bid to score at least three goals.

Talks have begun about a possible takeover of Championship side Hull City, reports BBC Radio Humberside.

The club have been up for sale since 2014, after the Football Association turned down owner Assem Allam's request to a change of name to Hull Tigers.

An offer is now understood to have been made and talks held over the weekend have been described as "constructive".

  17. Recap: Owls finish off Seagullspublished at 19:15

    Hull v Derby (3-0 agg, 19:45 BST)

Whichever side comes through tonight's tie will face Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley on 28 May, after the Owls completed a 3-1 aggregate win over Brighton on Monday.

Chris Hughton's side, who missed out on automatic promotion only on goal difference (being just two goals worse off than promoted Middlesbrough) had finished 15 points above Wednesday in the regular season.

But Ross Wallace's equaliser on the night, coupled with a 2-0 first-leg win, was enough to send the side that finished sixth in the table through to Wembley.

Wednesday are bidding to return to the top flight for the first time since 2000.

  18. Derby team newspublished at 19:12

    Hull v Derby (3-0 agg, 19:45 BST)

Darren Wassall makes two changes to the Derby County starting line-up with Jeff Hendrick and Andreas Weimann replacing Bradley Johnson and Tom Ince.

That could mean Will Hughes moves into a more attacking role.

    Derby County XI

Subs: Grant, Buxton, Bent, Johnson, Butterfield, Camara, Ince

  19. Hull team newspublished at 19:09

    Hull v Derby (3-0 agg, 19:45 BST)

Hull City's team news is nice and simple - Steve Bruce has named an unchanged side from Saturday.

Allan McGregor is still out injured, so Eldin Jakupovic continues in goal.

There is one change on the bench for the Tigers, David Meyler replaces Sone Aluko.

    Hull City starting XI

Subs: Kuciak, Maguire, Bruce, Meyler, Maloney, Clucas, Akpom

It's been a pretty gloomy few days for Derby County fans since their first-leg defeat on Saturday.

But now is the time you can maybe give them a bit of hope heading into tonight's encounter.

Remember Liverpool coming from 3-0 down at half-time against AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final? Or what about Manchester United's 5-3 Premier League victory at Spurs in 2001 after Tottenham led by three goals at the break?
