    FT: Raith Rovers 1-0 Hibernian

This tie isn't over but Raith Rovers are in the driving seat with that goal from Harry Panayiotou.

Hibs are sure to give it everything in Saturday's second leg but that could leave them vulnerable at the back and Rovers showed tonight that they are more than up for the fight.

It promises to be a nail-biter.

I'll sign off now. Good night.

    Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"The first frustration comes from conceding at a set-piece. We lost concentration when we should have dealt with it. The other frustration comes from not taking the chances we had.

"The pitch is a leveller, It doesn't suit our style of play but that's not the reason we lost the game. Conrad [Logan] has had one save to make.

"At this stage of the season, you want the best officials and they have got it horribly wrong tonight.

"We know what we need to do on Saturday and we'll look to really take the game to Raith. Our home form is very good, so it makes for a rip-roaring occasion."

Saturday's second leg is a 12:30 kick-off at Easter Road. Hibs fans may be too nervous for a hearty breakfast before that one. One thing is for sure, the Edinburgh side need to improve their finishing if they are to have a chance of turning this round.

"It's been the year of the underdogs. We've got nothing to lose. If we get promoted, I'm the happiest man alive," says Raith goal hero Harry Panayiotou on BBC Radio Scotland. Have I mentioned he's on loan from new English champions Leicester City?

How will Hibs be feeling in the dressing room? Pretty sick, I'd wager. They bossed the first half and really should have been ahead but now they are in real danger of a third season in the second tier.
