  1. Celtic on top againpublished at 15:00

    Celtic are champions

That's it from folks, thanks for your company on the afternoon Celtic settled the Scottish Premiership title with a 3-2 win over nearest challengers Aberdeen.

Celtic lost just three league matches, which is impressive but poor results in Europe have ultimately cost Ronny Deila his job.

It's the fifth success in a row. Can anyone get closer next time?

A new manager will be at the Celtic helm next season and Rangers will be in the top flight, while Aberdeen and Hearts will look to kick on. I can hardly wait for it all to start again...

"The champagne was flowing the dressing room. We should enjoy ourselves and then get ready for the remaining games. I always enjoy playing football and to score goals in front of these fans is fantastic."

  3. Celtic manager Ronny Deilapublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 8 May 2016

    Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"It means we are the best team in Scotland. I have fantastic staff around me and the players have worked really, really hard. It's good when you cross the line.

"In the league we have been consistent but the last two months we have not had the same drive and energy in the team. There have been some bad results which make the season a bit grey, rather than white."

  4. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnespublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 8 May 2016

    Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"We had some great chances. Second half, we showed fight and good aggression. Similar to the whole season, we gave them a fright but fell short. We rattled them and the two goals were no more than we deserved.

"Congratulations to Celtic, only losing three games is a great achievement.

"It's important to me that we beat last season's points tally, so that's the focus for the last two matches."

  5. What next for Celtic?published at 14:47 British Summer Time 8 May 2016

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Aberdeen

Well, the champions need to get a new manager in place. Ronny Deila leaves after two seasons and delivering two titles and the League Cup last term.

Who will get the job? David Moyes, Bredan Rodgers, Paul Lambert, Roy Keane or someone from left field?

    And what about the squad?

Someone needs to help Leigh Griffiths out in the goals department, central defence remains an area of concern and the squad is top-heavy with midfielders.

"Without the goals of Leigh Griffiths, Celtic might well have struggled," says BBC Sportsound pundit Pat Bonner. "Kieran Tierney has been a huge success, no doubt, and Callum McGregor has been another, but there have not been enough positives this season."

  9. Celtic striker Leigh Griffithspublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 8 May 2016

    Talking to BBC Radio Scotland

"For me, it's been one of the best seasons of my life. Getting the three points was the most important thing today and that's what champions do; they grind out results."

The Celtic striker is on 39 goals and is suspended for the final day, so if he's going to get to 40 it will need to be against St Johnstone on Wednesday.
