To say Aberdeen do not boast a good recent league record at Celtic Park is something of an understatement. The visitors have not enjoyed a victory in Glasgow's East End since Jimmy Calderwood's side won 3-2 in October 2004.
They have suffered 21 consecutive defeats at Celtic Park since then.
A draw is also rare between these two. The last time they shared the points at Celtic Park was 8 October 1994 when they drew 0-0. They also produced a stalemate at Pittodrie that same season on Boxing Day.
Talking to BBC Radio Scotland
"I've been getting asked about a league challenge for two seasons now, so today is not about a marker. There were times this season we allowed ourselves to think we could win the title and there's nothing wrong with that. We want to beat our total of 75 points from last season and I think we will improve again next time."

Celtic Park breaks into loud applause as club captain Scott Brown hands over a floral tribute to campaigners for the Hillsborough 96. There is also a banner display in memory of those Liverpool fans who died that day.

Former Aberdeen captain and manager Willie Miller on BBC Sportsound: "I'm disappointed that's there's really nothing at stake in this game, with Aberdeen having beaten Celtic twice. This is not going to tell me much about Aberdeen because there is no pressure there. I'm not saying the season has been a disappointment, it's just a case of what might have been."
Talking to BBC Radio Scotland
"We want to finish it off today and show again that we are the best team.
"I've had a great time here and the players have been fantastic. I hope the fans remember me as a honest guy who always wanted to take the club in the right direction."

Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park
"Celtic have the opportunity to put Aberdeen firmly in their place this afternoon - to wrap up a fifth successive league title with a stylish and comprehensive victory over the team who have proved to be a thorn in their side for two years.
"By the same token, Derek McInnes will be determined to delay the formal title celebrations and underline how close his team has run the champions-elect. There could be a party atmosphere at Celtic Park, which should be a good bit busier than in recent weeks, if Celtic can cross the line in commanding fashion."
So, should Aberdeen win this afternoon, it will be the first time since the 1990-91 season they have recorded three wins in one season over Celtic.
Back then Alex Smith's charges were top of the table on the final day of the season on goal difference but lost 2-0 to Rangers in a final day showdown at Ibrox.
The Dons won both home games against Celtic 3-0 and 1-0, and also won 3-0 at Celtic Park.
It was a must-win game for Aberdeen and they delivered in front of a Pittodrie full house.
Jonny Hayes put the Dons in front with a wonder goal, before Simon Church marked his debut with the second goal for the hosts.
Leigh Griffiths pulled one back in injury time to keep up his excellent personal record in this fixture.
Aberdeen's title challenge hit the rocks after a poor October that they never really recovered from and at the end of it all came defeat to Celtic.
Leigh Griffiths set Celtic on their way, scoring a header just before half time and a penalty just after following a moment of madness from Dons defender Ash Taylor.
James Forrest added a fine third as the champions took control.
Adam Rooney, who went close three times in the first half, managed a late consolation for the visitors.
Aberdeen had lost four out of four meetings with Ronny Deila's side the previous season, and their mettle had been questioned before the September's game at Pittodrie.
However, despite going behind to a Leigh Griffiths penalty, Adam Rooney pulled them level from the spot in the second half.
Then, despite the red card of Jonny Hayes, they produced a late winner through Paul Quinn to leapfrog Celtic and go top of the league.

Following yesterday's action, the last remaining issue in the Scottish Premiership was settled, with Kilmarnock destined for 11th spot and a place in the play-off final against Falkirk or Hibernian.
Celtic v Aberdeen (12:30)
Of course, Ronny Deila is leaving at the end of the season and the Celtic boss is determined to end his two-campaign stint with a 100% home record against the side who have been his nearest rivals.
"They have been very consistent and pushed us a lot," said the Norwegian. "But we haven't lost against them at Celtic Park as long as I've been here and we want to keep that stat."

Celtic captain Scott Brown is missing and won't play again this season as he look to address hamstring problems. Charlie Mulgrew replaces Efe Ambrose in central defence and midfielders Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong come into the side, with Callum McGregor dropping deeper to fill in for Brown and Colin Kazim-Richards dropping out altogether. No sign of Kris Commons in the home squad either.
Aberdeen striker Simon Church has shrugged off a knock, so the visitors go with the same team that started last weekend's 4-1 win against Motherwell.

Celtic's win at Tynecastle last week took them nine points clear of nearest challengers Aberdeen with three games remaining.
The Dons are at Celtic Park this afternoon and all they can do is delay the party since they trail by a whopping 35 on goal difference.
Celtic will want to wrap up a fifth consecutive title in style but avoiding defeat will get the job done.
