Daniel James Pollard: I would like him to say "I am staying for another season!!"

Alberto D la Rosa ll: That he is too old now and will go with his family. Then our CEO announces Zlatan and Vertonghen!

Hello: And when I'm gone just carry on. Don't mourn, rejoice....

I'm fairly sure Van Gaal won't be spitting out Eminem lyrics...

Genuinely about half the mascots are blue to promote a film. One lad's just wearing sunglasses - he got off lightly.

They were dressed like that the other day too.

BBC Radio Manchester have been speaking to fans outside Old Trafford today.

One fan from India said: "I came for this game only. I’d have gone back if the game hadn’t been postponed. My London to Bangalore tickets have been changed."

He backed the club's security and decision: "It is better safe than sorry. No cautions on that. It’s part of life.

"This is my son's first game."

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata: "It's going to be a bittersweet farewell to Old Trafford, now that we know we won't be playing the Champions League next season.

"It leaves us with a bad taste because, even if we enjoyed good moments together throughout the season, we weren't consistent enough to qualify for the top European competition.

"It's true that we found many difficulties along the way, especially if we talk about injuries - up to 15 players in several weeks, as far as I remember - but Manchester United must be ambitious and always fight for everything."

Only Stoke City have scored fewer goals than Manchester United in the Premier League's top 10. That's an issue they must surely put right this summer, or can Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial kick on to a new level next season?

Unless Louis van Gaal's side net 12 today, they will card their lowest number of league goals since 1989-90 when they managed 46, the same amount they are on at the start of today.

And if they're going to score 12, they might as well go for 19.

BBC Radio Manchester have been speaking to fans outside Old Trafford today.

A Northern Irish fan, who had flown over from Canada, said: "We were in the Fergie stand. We noticed the far corner being evacuated. We thought it was a drill of some sort. We were relaxed - the team were on the pitch warming up.

"Then they evacuated us and we heard them say it was code red. It was well coordinated. Our fear was that if it [a threat] was real this game might have been played behind closed doors.

"We brought our kids all the way over from Nova Scotia to see the game. We would have been gutted for them. Even had it been something real, I’d still have been here today."

    Speech. Speech. Speech.

Manchester United managers like to do an on-pitch speech after the final home game.

In May 2013, the retiring Alex Ferguson told fans: "Your job now is to stand by our new manager."

David Moyes didn't even have a chance to do a speech the next year because he'd already been sacked. Caretaker Ryan Giggs took that 'honour', promising fans "the good times will come back soon".

Last year, Louis van Gaal said:, external “Dear fans, I want to say thank you to you, fans, on behalf of my players and my staff.

“You were amazing, especially for me. I want to thank you for that and next year we see each other again. Bye."

Do you think tonight is Van Gaal's final game at Old Trafford? What - if anything - will we hear from the Dutchman after the game? What would you like him to say?

    "I'm outta here." *drops mic*?

For the final time this season, let me send you the way of our Premier League predictor.

Clubs are ranked by how well their fans do at predicting and 13th-placed Manchester United are just two points off Arsenal (2362-2360). Bournemouth are up in the heady heights of fifth.

Mark Lawrenson predicted 2-0 to the Red Devils, in case that shapes your answer somehow.

This is the first time in 22 years that there is a Premier League game being played after the 'final matchday' of the season.

In 1992-93 - the first Premier League season - Spurs beat Arsenal 3-1 and QPR beat Sheffield Wednesday by the same scoreline on Tuesday, 11 May.

And the following season, Manchester United and Coventry played out a 0-0 draw on Sunday, 8 May.

But it has not happened since then - until now.

No team in the history of the Football League play-offs has ever lost a first leg by three goals and gone on to reach the final.

But that's exactly what Derby County need to do tonight following Hull's 3-0 win in the East Midlands on Saturday.

The Manchester United team news is, well, there is no 'news'. Quite surprisingly Louis van Gaal names exactly the same XI and bench that he did for Sunday's game. Surprising because the Red Devils are only four days away from a date with Wembley...

United are not expecting a capacity crowd tonight given the short notice at which the game was rearranged.

But there were still a healthy number of fans around to welcome a team bus containing exactly the same starting line-up Louis van Gaal named on Sunday.
