Another chance falls to Cristiano Ronaldo just inside the area. The Portuguese hits a first-time shot into the ground and it bounces narrowly over the bar. We're into the last 15 minutes and as it stands England face a last-16 meeting with Portugal in Nice on Monday.

Iceland are digging in like an Alabama tick. They have their goalkeeper to thank for the score being level. Marc Janko finds Alessandro Scopf in the box with a neat pass and he has just the keeper to beat but fails as Halldorsson spreads himself to block.

Unsurprisingly the pace has dropped in Lyon as both teams gear up for a grandstand finish.

Another cross into the Hungary area and Cristiano Ronaldo rises to head...just wide.

By the way, Ronaldo is the first player to score in four different European Championship finals. Wow.

There are some nervous, frustrated players at the Stade de France. Marc Janko goes in to the book for a grapple with Kari Arnason on the edge of the Iceland box. Just under 20 minutes to go. All results possible.

    Hungary 3-3 Portugal

About 20 minutes left in Lyon. This game is being played at a blistering pace. You wouldn't rule out more goals. Cristiano Ronaldo has really got the bit between his teeth. But Hungary look so threatening on the counter attack. Fireworks at Euro 2016.

    Paul Fletcher

Austria look so much better with David Alaba in a deeper midfield role.

It is still hot here in Paris and this game is now so fast and frenetic that players are bound to tire.

Expect the chances to keep coming. Thrilling stuff.

Oh, just wide from Marc Janko! The cross from Marcel Sabitzer finds the striker at the near post. He is being held but gets his effort in and steers it a yard past the upright.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best headers of the ball.  He is completely unmarked. It's a good cross with not too much pace. Wow. England v Portugal is on now - Rooney v Ronaldo. All those things come back.
