    Iceland 0-0 Austria

For a team that needs to win to stay in this tournament, Austria aren't exactly going hell for leather in these opening stages. When they do have the ball it is very patient and considered... and so far quite wasteful.

  2. As it stands...published at 17:09 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Ten minutes gone in both games. As it stands England will be facing Iceland in Nice on Monday and Austria will be heading out.

    Hungary 0-0 Portugal

First shot in anger for Portugal and it's from the boot of Joao Mario - not Cristiano Ronaldo. A free-kick is whipped into the Hungary area and only half cleared before Mario lets fly from outside the area. It's high and wide.

    Iceland 0-0 Austria

The bar is probably still rattling after that Gudmundsson effort. It certainly seems to have shaken Austria. Iceland have started well here, seeing plenty of the ball.

    Hungary 0-0 Portugal

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

The heat is absolutely stifling today. It's about 33C in the shade and it means we could get a slower pace of game.

    Hungary 0-0 Portugal

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC One

Hungary - they are living the dream aren't they? Already through, the pressure is all on Portugal. They will need some creativity though to get any joy today.

You can't believe how warm it is here. Gabor Kiraly must be sweltering in those joggers...

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 17:04 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

    Iceland 0-0 Austria

What an effort! Iceland's first movement forward is slick and sets up Johan Gudmundsson, who takes one touch and unleashes a swinging, swooping shot that thunders against the corner of the goalframe and bounces clear. If anything, the effort from the Charlton man did too much!

    Hungary 0-0 Portugal

Portugal aren't hanging about as they win an early corner before Nani almost finds himself clean through.

Hungary's 40-year-old keeper Gabor Kiraly already looks hot and bothered in those long tracksuit bottoms.

It is difficult when Ronaldo has an off spell. We want to see him delivering crosses, taking on his man. People will have a go at him for not scoring but he is still making the right movement.

He should have scored in the tournament but he will always have opportunities. You need a bit of luck. Where's the creativity in midfield? The team isn't playing well.

What is great about Cristiano Ronaldo, he shows to people watching, you still have to have the personality to get in there and miss the chances. Many players would shy away from the pressure, he wants the responsibility.

I would put everything on him scoring today.

    Hungary v Portugal (17:00 BST)

No smiles from Cristiano Ronaldo as he lines up in the tunnel. Is the normally ice-cool CR7 feeling the pressure?

Portugal are wearing a mint green kit. Interesting.

Premier League referee Martin Atkinson has been cleared by Uefa to take charge at the Stade de Lyon - scene of Northern Ireland's epic 2-0 win over Ukraine - even though the game will have a say in who England play next at Euro 2016.

Let's hope there are no contentious decisions - otherwise Hungary or Portugal could well kick up a fuss.

    Paul Fletcher

Most definitely more red than blue here at Stade de France - especially given that the red-hot sun has ensured some of the Iceland fans have faces that resemble's Austria's shirt.

Austria fans have been floating around Paris for days, since they played Portugal at Parc de Prince on Saturday, lederhosen given a very decent outing. Yesterday they were learning about Will Griggs, today they could be witnessing history.

After all, Austria haven't graduated from a group stage since 1982, Iceland never.

    Iceland v Austria (17:00 BST)

There is a classic Subbuteo feel to the teams at the Stade de France - one half of the stadium decked out in red, the other predominantly blue.

Both sets of fans are singing along to I gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. It is going to be a good night, but for which of these teams?
