With so much going on at Pittodrie, I've just got time to tell you that Hearts are still looking a bit shaky when facing the swift counter-attacks from the Estonians.

The second half is just starting at Tynecastle. Can Hearts add to their lead?

Meanwhile, news from Slovenia, where Brendan Rodgers' first game in charge of Celtic finished in a 2-2 draw.  The Scottish champions, with 18-year-old Kristoffer Ajer making his debut at centre-back, trailed 2-0 at half-time at NK Celje.  But second-half goals from Nadir Ciftci and Tom Rogic, after Rodgers fielded a completely different 11 after the interval, avoided defeat.

"Hearts have cause to feel better about the balance of the tie, having scored twice, but it is still capable of being a troubling assignment. Infonet have attacked with relish down their left, and the home side have looked uncertain in defence at times. 

"Hearts can be enthused, though, by the sprightliness of Sam Nicholson, the assurance of Faycal Rherras, and the always composed Arnaud Djoum. The first instinct will be to seek another goal to strengthen their lead, but Hearts will also need to be wary of the way the Estonian side can break upfield with menace."

Aberdeen make a positive change, introducing last season's top scorer Adam Rooney for central midfielder Willo Flood.

The striker is involved straight away and tries to lift a shot over the keeper, who had slipped, but Thomas Hym recovers to make the save.

The visitors are resorting to some rough house tactics, giving away a series of free-kicks near the edge of their penalty area. Niall McGinn fires one on target bu the keeper is right behind it.

Aberdeen have their tails up as Jonny Hayes pounces on a defensive slip and Jayden Stockley sees a rather weak shot cleared off the line.  

So close for Aberdeen as Ash Taylor powers a header towards goal which goalkeeper Thomas Hym does brilliantly to keep out. 

Moments later Taylor does well to prevent Hadji netting at the other end. A brisk start to the second half.

Well, Hearts will be happy to be leading at the interval after conceding the opening goal but the visitors from Estonia have been lively.
