They have brought a lot of pace into the side and Mendy has come in as like for like for Kante. Whether he can he get to that level is the question.

But Musa is the one. He brings real pace and adds more firepower to an already electric side. I think they will target a top-six finish finish. Top four will be brilliant but I don't think they will get in those top four places.

    But is he worth it?

Four summers ago John Stones was targeting a regular place in Barnsley's first team - now the England centre-back has become the second most expensive defender in history.

Manchester City have paid a fee of £47.5m to sign the 22-year-old from Premier League rivals Everton.

But is he worth it? What exactly have City got for their huge outlay? And will the big-money move help cement Stones' place as a regular for his country?

Jonathan Jurejko walks you through the arguments.

    Leicester

    This season: 8th

    Last season: Champions

This prediction comes with a warning attached after forecasting relegation for the eventual champions last season - but it will be neither a title nor relegation for Claudio Ranieri's side this time around.

    Hull

    This season: Bottom

    Last season: Promoted (Championship play-offs)

The loss of manager Steve Bruce and the instability around Hull City has robbed the club and its fervent supporters of the optimism that should surround their return to the Premier League.

Head over here to see Phil's predictions in full - and share your own thoughts on what might happen.

It is the most difficult task of the season - trying to predict who will finish where in the Premier League.

Last term I was only 19 places out with my prediction for champions Leicester City, although I suspect I was not on my own getting that one badly wrong.

After a summer of change in the top flight - with a whole host of new managers and top-quality players - it is a task that remains as painful as ever.

Phil getting his excuses in early there... Head over here to see who he thinks will finish where, and share your own thoughts on what might happen.
