    Swansea 0-0 Hull

Curtis Davies has had another solid game at the back for Hull. The skipper has been a towering presence and led this team superbly.

Swansea will need to get past him if they want to score, but it is proving rather difficult at the moment.

    Swansea 0-0 Hull

Hull striker Abel Hernandez is the long man up front today and it is a thankless task for him

He has barely had a sniff at goal and is having to feed off scraps, as his side sit deep, happy to soak up the pressure.

Swansea work the ball to the edge of the area for Leroy Fer, but the Dutchman's shot from 20-yards out deflects over.

The Swans are unable to make anything of the set-piece.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

That is Wayne Routledge's last contribution in the match.

He comes off to be replaced by Jefferson Montero, who points to the sky before skipping onto the pitch.

Swansea's most impressive player today Modou Barrow toe-pokes a ball into the box, but little Wayne Routledge is not tall enough to slide the ball home.

  8. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Hull

    Hull almost break the deadlock.

Left-back Andrew Robertson finds his way into the Swansea box and pulls the ball back into the path of Robert Snodgrass, whose low shot is heading for the bottom corner of the net but defender Stephen Kingsley slides across to deflect the ball away.

    A brilliant, goal-saving challenge.

That was not the exhilarating half Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan might have envisaged for their first experience of Premier League football as Swansea’s new owners.

The Swans enjoyed the majority of possession and chances, though they have been caught on the counter-attack a couple of times.

Hull should have had a penalty when Robert Snodgrass was brought down by Jordi Amat, and the visitors’ occasional breaks into Swansea’s half have been enough for the travelling supporters to chant their support for caretaker manager Mike Phelan with cries of “We want Phelan in”.

    Swansea 0-0 Hull

Swansea have had more possession in the first half and struck the crossbar through Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Let's give the goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic credit though, it was a fantastic save to tip the ball onto the woodwork.

Hull, playing on the counter, have not worked Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski yet.

Is anyone bored of the Iceland hand-clap chant yet? Well, Swansea's fans don't seem to be.

In fairness to them, one of the Swans' players, Gylfi Sigurdsson, was one of Iceland's leading lights at Euro 2016 and, as he prepares to take a corner at the Liberty Stadium, he is welcomed by a decent rendition of the islanders' war cry.

This will be a blow for Mike Phelan's Hull if he cannot continue.

    Ref? Ref??

Hull winger Robert Snodgrass cuts in from the right, all left footed, he wants it on his left.

He turns on the ball just inside the area and defender Jordi Amat slides in, catching him on the foot but no penalty is given.

Swansea very lucky to get away with that one.
