Stoke 0-0 Tottenham
Still all Stoke in these opening exchanges. Giannelli Imbula is bossing the midfield, Wilfried Bony looking sharp with some neat touches. Spurs barely out of their own half yet...
Stoke XI: Given, Cameron, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters, Whelan, Allen, Imbula, Walters, Bony, Arnautovic
Spurs XI: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane

Stoke 0-0 Tottenham
Stoke have the ball in the net! Shame for them that Marko Arnautovic is about three yards offside as he races on to a slick through ball from Giannelli Imbula. Crackerjack of a finish from 20 yards nevertheless...

Quick reminder of the two teams you say? Here you are...

Stoke 0-0 Tottenham
Stoke come out roaring. Joe Allen dances into space on the right side of the Spurs box, and pulls back to Wilfried Bony. The new signing shoots...but hits a Spurs body.

Let's get this show on the road. Tottenham's Victor Wanyama has the honour of kicking off.

Mark Hughes isn't under pressure. They had a poor start last season and ended up finishing ninth. There's a long time to go in this campaign.
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
Stoke skipper Ryan Shawcross and Spurs counterpart Hugo Lloris are both poker-faced as they lead the two teams out of the tunnel. I see Stoke forward Marko Arnautovic has joined the Eminem-inspired bleached blond gang. Imagine Shawcross gave him a reducer in training when he turned up with that...

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: "We have seven games in 20 days and a crazy schedule until Christmas. We will rotate the squad and every player will have the chance to show his quality.
"It will be tough for us this season, but I am happy with my squad."
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "They will be a test for us, they're a good side with good energy and lots of pace and power so we will have to be able to match that.
"Sometimes you have to hold your hands up because on the day, at home, I thought Tottenham were excellent against us last season."

The life of a live text commentator can be a lonely existence for 90 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. So why don't you come and talk to me? Please.
Stoke fans - are you happy with your late transfer dealings? How concerned are you (or not) about your team's start?
And what about those of you with a Spurs persuasion? Concerned about Kane's lack of form? Happy to splash out £30m on Sissoko?
The floor is yours. Tweet me your thoughts...
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
The Beeb cameraman at the Britannia is focusing a lot on Spurs's new £30m midfield man Moussa Sissoko as he belts a few balls across the pitch in the warm-up. And that's the most action we're likely to see from him in the next hour. The France international starts on the bench.

Mark Hughes and Stoke did some good work on deadline day by bringing in the Dutch international defender Bruno Martins Indi and Wilfried Bony.
Bony averaged a goal in every other game for Swansea, before seeing his strike rate plummet to one in four at Man City, where he was usually a late substitute at best.
Stoke needed a lift too - they're bottom of a Premier League table for only the third time in their history.
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
Which Wilfried Bony will we see at Stoke? The Swansea version who terrified Premier League defences with his pace and power? Or the Manchester City version who barely started and looked nothing like a £28m striker? I reckon Sparky will get the best out of him...
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
"What about us?!" I hear Stoke fans cry. We've not forgotten you - although you might not want reminding...
Stoke are bottom of the Premier League after picking up one lonesome point. Mark Hughes' boys opened with a draw at Middlesbrough, took a beating by Manchester City, then were narrowly beaten at Everton.
Scoring goals has been the problem. Enter Wilfried Bony...

Spurs will hope that Harry Kane is keen, but not desperate, to end his scoring drought - which now extends to nine games for club and country. Desperation in a striker is seldom a good sign - but I'm pretty sure that all Kane needs is a bit of luck to get himself going again.
One footnote to this fixture: there have been eight Premier League meetings between the two clubs on Stoke soil - and only twice has the game ended without a red card.
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
Before Spurs fans start banging on the windows of BBC Sport Towers demanding my immediate sacking for being overly-critical, it must be stressed Pochettino's men are far from being in a bit of pickle.
They're unbeaten in their opening three games, drawing against Everton and Liverpool with a narrow win over Crystal Palace sandwiched in-between.
But, to continue using everybody's favourite lunch as an analogy, Spurs have been more plain Cheddar on slightly-stale sliced white bread rather than mozzarella, pesto, spinach and sundried tomatoes on crusty ciabatta.
You know what I mean? Yes, I'm hungry...
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
Some classic Bob Marley pumping out of the Britannia sound system. Not a rastacap to be seen in the Potteries though unfortunately.
Stoke v Tottenham (15:00 BST)
No surprise to see Stoke have a new face leading their line - Wilfried Bony. The Ivorian striker makes his debut after joining on loan from Manchester City, while Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi - another deadline day arrival - also starts. Forward Jon Walters also comes in as boss Mark Hughes makes three changes from the 1-0 defeat at Everton.
Spurs also make three changes - but new £30m signing Moussa Sissoko must be content with a place on the bench. Skipper Hugo Lloris returns from injury in goal, while Wales left-back Ben Davies replaces the injured Danny Rose and South Korea forward Son Heung-min comes in for Erik Lamela.
