  1. 'Henderson's goal will have annoyed Conte'published at 12:24

    Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

    Football Focus

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson scored a spectacular goal to help the Reds beat Chelsea last night. But was it that great?

Former Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane: "These types of goals are big bugbear for coaches. You try to condense the play. It's a superb goal. We've seen a lot of them fly into the Kop from Henderson over the seasons. But Conte will be thinking they shouldn't be allowing that shot so easily. He will be annoyed.

Ex-West Brom striker Jason Roberts: "The clearance could have been better but Henderson's first touch is brilliant. The execution was superb."

  2. Hendo's humdingerpublished at 12:21

    Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

Jordan Henderson might have to make room on his mantelpiece. The Liverpool midfielder might be taking the goal of the month prize home. You can't do anything about a worldie like that. Can you?

  3. Are Liverpool top four contenders?published at 12:19 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

    Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

    Football Focus

Former West Brom striker Jason Roberts: "For me they are not top four based on their defensive capabilities. Eight goals conceded already. They are capable of beating the likes of Chelsea but capable of losing to the likes Burnley. Liverpool have invested in their attacking players but have questions defensively."

Ex-Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane: "I disagree. I think they will be in the mix for the top four. My concern is whether they can maintain that level of intensity in their play for the whole season."

  6. 'Italian attitude to the game by Chelsea'published at 12:13 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

    Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool

    Football Focus

Former Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane: "The tone was set with how Liverpool started. They pressed early and were immediately putting Chelsea under pressure.

"If Liverpool gave the ball away five or six players pressed to get ball back.

Former West Brom striker Jason Roberts: "It was a very Italian attitude to game from Chelsea. The Chelsea players were thinking about easing in and not conceding but Liverpool had already set the tempo that Chelsea couldn't rise to."

West Ham v West Brom (15:00 BST)

    Slaven BilicImage source, Reuters

Moving home is not always straightforward. Just ask West Ham. Distractions on and off the pitch have hampered the start to their first season in London Stadium - and former Hammer Trevor Sinclair says Slaven Bilic's men need to settle in. Quick.

"Things have to improve soon because the last thing they need in their first season at their new ground is a situation where they are stuck near the bottom of the table," the former England winger says in his BBC Sport column.

"The longer this bad start continues, the more it will play on the minds of the players and the fans that their first season after leaving Upton Park is going to be spent battling relegation, rather than pushing for the top six again."
