Arsene Wenger and I were talking about the stadium move and it was fascinating what he had to go through. He knew that he had to be in the Champions League every season. He was losing players.

I wanted to say 'don't you feel angry and aggrieved?'

It was a time when he could have left to join any club in the world and he stayed knowing that he wasn't able to sign the players he wanted and still had to get into the Champions League.

Arsenal are in a real situation. The fans are ready to go, they are sharpening the pitchforks. I was with the boss last night and if I am being totally honest, I am getting the impression that this is it. I get the impression that that's it.

He actually mentioned that he is coming to the end. I have never heard him say that before. He looks tired. You just feel that he looks winded. I feel that he will go at the end of the season.

When it matters top managers have answers and Arsene Wenger doesn't seem to have any. We hear the same thing from him game after game.

Arsenal want a completely new direction, something fresh. Most Arsenal fans understand that the next manager coming in will need a period of time to find his own team.

Nobody is anti-Wenger. They all appreciate what he has done for the club but some of them think enough is enough. They feel he is hanging around too long.
