Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was literally jumping up and down in a fury after Southampton almost caught Chelsea's defence napping with a well-worked free-kick - then he was pumping his fists in elation seconds later after Eden Hazard gave his side the lead.

Polite applause for John Terry as he comes out to warm up. Chelsea's captain, who has made 713 appearances for the club, is leaving at the end of this season and there are only three games left at Stamford Bridge after this one before he makes his farewell.

Southampton looking remarkably relaxed in their warm-up. Sounds of laughter booming into the stands from their players.

And Chelsea can now turn the tables and put Spurs under pressure with victory over Southampton at Stamford Bridge tonight. It would give them a seven-point advantage ahead of Spurs' tough visit to in-form Crystal Palace tomorrow night.
