    With David Silva off, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will look to Kevin de Bruyne to take on the role of creator-in-chief.

    Silva never recovered from Gabriel's early challenge and was still very unhappy with referee Craig Pawson as he went off.

    City still enjoying most of the possession but are struggling to get a clear sight of Arsenal keeper Petr Cech. Frustration for them so far.

    And he sticks with the three-man defensive system used in victory at Middlesbrough with Gabriel, Laurent Koscielny and Rob Holding given the task of keeping out Manchester City's multi-talented attack.

    City captain Vincent Kompany gets the chance to make up for the long months of injury frustration as he starts, while Claudio Bravo gets the nod over Willy Caballero in goal.
