    Bruma

A lovely, lovely goal puts Galatasaray into a deserved lead. Bruma plays a neat one-two with Sinan Gumus just on the edge of the area, he is able to take two quick touches to move the ball out of his feet, and then he bends a dipping shot across David de Gea and into the far corner. Clinical.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:11

    Barcelona 3-1 Celtic

The classic Celtic comeback starts. Like the first half, the Bhoys race out of the traps.

Nadir Cifti, one of the eight half-time substitutes, pings a shot goalwards, but he puts too much beef into it. Fred in Row F gets a touch of the ball.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:10

    Barcelona 3-1 Celtic

Great news for Celtic's defenders. Bad news for the Dublin crowd. Lionel Messi's afternoon's work is over. The Barca skipper is given a breather.

Spare a though for the fourth official. He's busily punching numbers into his electronic board, letting the eight substitutes through the door one by one. I've seen bigger nightclub queues outside Karisma in Doncaster.

    Man Utd 1-1 Galatasaray

Ander Herrera lofts a lovely pass over the top and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is clean through - but offside. A very marginal call.

    Barcelona 3-1 Celtic

We're hearing a very different looking Celtic side will return from the interval. Seven changes are being made by Brendan Rodgers. He, of course, has one eye (or possibly both eyes) on Wednesday's Champions League tie against Astana.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:07 British Summer Time 30 July 2016

    Man Utd 1-1 Galatasaray

United's new centre-half Eric Bailly has to use his considerable frame to full effect to get back and barge Wesley Sniejder out of the way. He was legal, and strong there. Galatasaray are well on top now, and Sneijder drives in a 25-yarder which David de Gea has to push over the bar.

Electric pace by Anthony Martial to skin his man on the left and fire in a low cross which is well dealt with. Wayne Rooney then overclubs a corner out of the far side of the penalty area.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:02

    Barcelona 3-1 Celtic

Wonder if we'll see Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez reappear for the second half? A gentle 45-minute trot might well be enough in Barca's opening pre-season game. Then they can kick back on the bench for the second half and have a chinwag about whatever two of the world's finest footballers talk about.

    Man Utd 1-1 Galatasaray

Wesley Sneijder won the treble with Inter under Jose Mourinho but he is not Jose's favourite at the moment as the Dutchman is booked for catching Ander Herrera late in midfield.

That was the first effort on goal for the Turkish side and Manchester United are momentarily stunned by it. Luke Shaw gives the ball away cheaply and then does it again, overcooking a simple pass to Anthony Martial.

    Sinan Gumus

And that foul from Zlatan Ibrahimovic proves costly. Wesley Sneijder whips in a testing ball from the right, there is little to no marking and Sinan Gumus is free to plant a header past David de Gea from 10 yards out.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic ventures back into his own half to help out and ends up fouling Galatasaray captain Selcuk Inan, much to Jose Mourinho's displeasure.

Barca in second gear, Celtic struggling to keep up. Easy street for the Spanish champions.

Help him! Patrick Roberts is the Celtic player looking likeliest to cause a problem for Barca's defenders. Other than their own Jose Antonio Martinez of course...

Roberts tries to wriggle clear in the Barca half, but a swarm of red and blue shirts appear to snuff out the danger.

The Gover: Now at the stage where you expect a costly mistake from Efe Ambrose every game. He is abysmal.

Johnny Magrinho: If Zlatan gets a hat-trick, I'm allowed to play it down as it's pre-season & vs a weak side, right? Fully expecting hyperbole

Stuart Mitchell: I can still see Rashford starting in the Europa League games, if this is how United are lining up, the front 4 can be rotated.

Here's the first - and not the greatest - image of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's opener in Gothenburg. Very Mark Hughes-esque.

    Munir (40 mins)

Ah. Just moments after trying to defend Efe Ambrose, he gets done again for Barca's third.

What did Brendan Rodgers joke about before kick-off? That he had told his defenders to keep their legs closed in the box when standing up to Luis Suarez.

Big Efe forgets rule number one of Luisball, gets megged and young Barca forward Munir is waiting to tap in the third.

Where do you stand on booing your own player? Personally I think it's out of order. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some cloggers at my club but singling them out isn't nice.

Anyway, Efe Ambrose has to focus. He's got Luis Suarez to deal with. He does that just, outmuscling the Barca striker as he tries to cause some bother.

    Man Utd 1-0 Galatasaray

Anthony Martial strangles a half-hearted penalty appeal as he tries to get a shot away on the edge of the area. It came after Wayne Rooney shinned a cross up into the air from wide on the left.

There has been some suggestion that Rooney may struggle to cement a place in this Jose Mourinho side. Thoughts?
