Real Madrid's priorities lie with defending the Champions League and winning their first La Liga title since 2012 yet Zinedine Zidane seems to have done an outstanding job at talking up this game.

"We have a cup final with two teams who are both capable of winning. The only thing that I'm concerned about is whether we are ready, and we are," said the France 1998 World Cup winner.

"Pre-season was very good. We have had time to prepare ourselves. We need to give it our all from the first minute, to work hard, to concentrate. In football you never know what can happen. It's 50-50."

"Blackburn Rovers are a big scalp, Mansfield will be up for the game, and so they should be," said former Burnley and Bolton boss Coyle, who was appointed Blackburn manager in June.

What a summer of change for Sevilla.

Since beating Liverpool in the Europa League final in Basel they have lost Unai Emery, their boss of the last three years, to Paris St-Germain, while there have been plenty of changes on the playing front.

Emery has been replaced by Jorge Sampaoli and the former Chile boss has wasted no time bringing in new signings.

Sevilla have lost striker Ciro Immobile to Lazio, French forward Kevin Gameiro to Atletico Madrid and striker Fernando Llorente to Swansea City.

Among the players coming in are Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto, Japan midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake from Hannover and Argentina defender Gabriel Mercado from River Plate.

    EFL Cup

This time last year Grimsby Town were playing the likes of Kidderminster Harriers and Barrow in the National League.

Tonight the newly-promoted League Two club travel to Derby County looking to cause an upset by knocking their Championship opponents out of the first round of the EFL Cup.

"It's not nice to say and it won't be nice for fans to hear, but if Derby are anything close to being on their game, then realistically, they should win the tie," said Grimsby boss Paul Hurst.

"We have to hope for a bit of an off day from them and hope that we can raise our own game – and that's what we'll do."
