Who do you think are the naughtiest team in the league? And when I say naughtiest, I mean the side who like to hand out a foul or two.

It's Watford. The Hornets know how to mix it alright. They've dished out 137 fouls in the league, which is 14 more than Tottenham.

Hull are a bit of a nice touch on 90. Only four sides have less and Arsenal are the cleanest side in the league on 82.

Match of the Day commentator at Vicarage Road

Two weeks ago I was commentating for Match of the Day on Hull's 6-1 defeat at Bournemouth. Frankly, the Tigers were awful, and they now have to go to Vicarage Road without top scorer Robert Snodgrass, who was injured in the home defeat to Stoke last weekend.

"In contrast, Watford are in good form, with 11 points from their last six matches.

"Troy Deeney is on the verge of a personal milestone, and will be confident of scoring against a Hull side who have conceded 11 goals in their last two away matches.

"Most people will be predicting a home win. A draw would be an excellent result for Hull, as they aim to prevent a sixth successive league defeat.

Watford v Hull City (15:00 BST)

Hull striker Adama Diomande was banned for three games on Friday, for appearing to strike Bristol City's Marlon Pack in Tuesday's EFL Cup game.

Mike Phelan is facing a mini crisis as he is also without forward Dieumerci Mbokani and winger Robert Snodgrass.

The goal threat falls on Abel Hernandez and Will Keane, who have mustered just one goal between them this season.

Only four other players have reached the century landmark for the Hornets: Cliff Holton, Ross Jenkins, Tommy Barnett and Luther Blissett.

Mike Phelan is yet to register a league win since taking over on a permanent basis on 13 October.

But the former United player has led Hull to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup after Tuesday's win over Bristol City.

Phelan said: "It's always nice to win games as we did in midweek. The way we performed at Bristol City was pleasing as well.

"Everyone's got a smile on their face now. It's amazing how quickly things can change in football."

  12. Story so farpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 29 October 2016

Watford v Hull City (15:00 BST)

With a quarter of the season gone, Hull and Watford have had contrasting fortunes.

Tigers fans will remember those halcyon days when they began the season with wins over Leicester and Swansea and were top of the table.

Those days seem a long time ago now, no wins in the league since the victory at the Liberty Stadium on 20 August.

They now sit 18th, where many predicted them to be at the start of the season. The only respite has been a decent run in the EFL Cup and they earned a quarter-final place with a midweek win over Bristol City.

Watford's tricky start saw them lose narrowly to Chelsea and Arsenal but they turned things around, with the win against Manchester United the highlight of the season so far, alongside a 4-2 defeat of West Ham.

Hull make three changes from Tuesday night's League Cup win over Bristol City with David Marshall replacing Eldin Jankupovic in goal, Sam Clucas coming back into midfield at the expense of highly-rated teenager Josh Tymon and Will Keane up front in place of Adama Diomande who is serving a three-match ban for violent conduct.

It is fair to say the Tigers are in desperate need of a win today as they visit Vicarage Road.

Mike Phelan's side are on a run of five straight Premier League games without a point. A 2-0 defeat by Stoke last week put the Tigers in the bottom three for the first time this season.

They face a Watford side, in ninth, who have made a solid start to life under Walter Mazzarri.

It's the first top flight meeting between these two sides, so let's get straight into it with the team news...
