Celtic's new signing Cristian Gamboa says Champions League football was simply "a plus" in his decision to move from West Brom.
The 26-year-old right-back, who has also played in right midfield and as a right winger, says he expects to have to fight for his place, with Mikael Lustig and Saidy Janko also vying for the defensive position.
Gamboa says he spoke to Brendan Rodgers three days ago. "I know the way he plays," said the player.
Hibernian and Rangers have been issued with notices of complaint by the Scottish FA's compliance officer in relation to disorder at the Scottish Cup final.
A pitch invasion took place after Hibs beat Rangers 3-2. The clubs are alleged to have breached disciplinary rule 311, which states "damage was sustained to Hampden...as a consequence of misbehaviour by supporters of your club".
They have until 6 September to respond to the notices of complaint. Principal hearing dates have been set for Hibs on 4 October and Rangers the following day.

English Football League clubs are being consulted on proposals to change the structure of the leagues, which includes introducing new clubs to the set-up to accommodate a fifth division.
The clubs are currently being asked for feedback on where these clubs might come from, including the possibility of looking into the involvement of Celtic and Rangers.
The EFL hope to finish the consultation process early next year, draw up a final proposal and then hold a vote amongst member clubs next summer. No discussions have been held with either Old Firm club in the meantime.

Hull City have signed Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall from Cardiff City on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Russell Knox has missed out on being selected for the European Ryder Cup team to play the United States in Hazeltine, Minnesota next month.
The Florida-based Scot, ranked 20th in the world and 10th on the World Points list, external for the Ryder Cup, had hoped to be one of Darren Clarke's wildcard picks.
With five rookies among the qualifiers, captain Clarke has chosen experienced duo Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer.
And Belgium's Thomas Pieters has pipped Knox, 31, to the third wildcard spot.
