  1. 'We can turn this around'published at 17:32 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Arsenal 3-2 Swansea

    Swansea City

    Swansea manager Bob Bradley:

"That game had many different parts. We started poorly. Defensively the first two goals were not handled well but we gave ourselves a real chance.

"At 3-1 the quality of football came up again. I am obviously a little disappointed but I feel there were some positives that can be taken from the performance.

"Of course we are confident we can turn this around - after the week of training we have just had and the mentality of the team, for me we are going to become a good team.

"There is a lot there and the response of the players has been good".

  4. 'We made it over the line'published at 17:30 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Arsenal 3-2 Swansea

    Arsenal

Arsenal managerArsene Wenger: "I have some mixed feelings because it looked at some points comfortable and then it never was.

"We could never capitalise on the two-goal cushion but at least we got the three points.

"I would say when we went two goals ahead, we lost our focus, and when you are playing a team who are down the bottom and trying to stay in the Premier League, you cant do that.

"Theo Walcott had a difficult time with England but it may have been a lack of confidence as he has been out of the side for a while but not with Arsenal.

"We finished with good solidarity and we made it over the line.

"We have the same number of points as Manchester City so if you look at their game today, it's interesting but you have to be intelligent enough to see it over a longer distance".

  5. 'We need to get better in all areas'published at 17:28 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Stoke 2-0 Sunderland

    Sunderland

Sunderland manager David Moyes: "We did some good things but conceded a terrible goal for the first. We played better than we had done in recent games but we had to make sure we got to half-time at 1-0 down.

"We stuck at it in the second half, we tried but it wasn't to be.

"We need to get better in all areas. But what I've seen in training recently tells me we're getting there, especially with our work on the ball.

"It was an inexperienced team out there but we're trying to get them better, we're working on them.

"When you've got supporters like Sunderland you're always going to be there and be successful and they were outstanding again today."

  6. 'Well done to Koeman and his players'published at 17:28 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Manchester City 1-1 Everton

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "We did absolutely everything. Everton create just one chance which was a goal. I'm a little bit sad and disappointed for the players. But it's a big compliment to Everton and Ronald Koeman so I say to them 'well done'.

"The players have all the qualities to score penalties but we miss a lot. Hopefully we will score more of them in future.

"It won't be the first time or the last time we have a game like this."

  8. 'We gave too much respect'published at 17:25 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Arsenal 3-2 Swansea

    Swansea City

    Swansea midfielderGylfi Sigurdsson:

"I am a little bit disappointed, but it was certainly an exciting football game.

"We didn't give up and could have nicked something at the end but it wasn't to be.

"The new manager wanted us to play on the front foot and I think we did that but we gave them too much respect.

"After the first goal, we started to play better and we had a lot of chances and could have taken something but overall I think it was a fair result.

"The boys really like the new boss and our training sessions are very tough. I'm not worried about my fitness. I'm fit! We will get fitter if we aren't fit enough".

  10. 'Game of Stekelenburg's life'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Manchester City 1-1 Everton

    Everton

Everton manager Ronald Koeman: "I am satisfied with a point because not many teams leave this stadium with a point. You need to be a little bit lucky and a goalkeeper to have the match of his life, and you need a workrate from your team.

"A big compliment to the team because we fight. They were the better team, had the chances, missed two penalties but it's final score 1-1. I said yesterday to the rest of the staff that we need to be prepared for three defenders from Pep. We took a risk to start with three forward players. That is why we changed after 20 minutes to deal with that. If they miss penalties it's the problem of City! We know we are difficult to beat. It's the best team football wise we have faced this season.

"I think Romelu Lukaku is one of the most feared in Europe. He doesn't need a lot of chances to score. He worked hard today and it's important for the team."

  11. 'We did everything and I'm proud'published at 17:15 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Manchester City 1-1 Everton

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "We did everything and I am so proud of that team. We played amazing. We created chances, had two penalties. They had one chance. In football it is like this. Big compliment to Everton about the way they defend and their performance

"I am sad for the players because they deserve to win the game. We have to keep our heads up because from the beginning of the season we have done so well. Football is football. This happens sometimes."

  15. 'That was definitely a grind'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Arsenal 3-2 Swansea

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott: "It was a crazy game.

"On a personal note, I would have liked to have had the hat-trick but the three points is all that matters. I think I could have scored three or four today but the win is all that matters.

"That is a tough Swansea side - people definitely underestimate them. They caused us problems out there today.

"It's always hard after the international break for everyone to get back into rhythm but I would rather have had a scruffy game and win so that's all that matters.

"The belief has always been there in the dressing room. We have got players who have come in and have settled in well and we need to build in it. We are grinding out results when called upon and that was definitely a grind today".

  16. 'I will ask Jagielka to buy me dinner'published at 17:04 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

    Manchester City 1-1 Everton

Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg: "When you go 1-0 up you hope you can get the three points but I think you have to thankful for a point. It's not only guesswork for the penalties, you do the analysis as well. Will Phil Jagielka buy me dinner after that? I will ask him!

Phil Jagielka gave away two penalties which were both saved by Stekelenburg.

  20. 'Tomkins shored up Palace defence'published at 17:00 British Summer Time 15 October 2016

Crystal Palace v West Ham (17:30 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Former Leicester and Man Utd forward on Football Focus

James Tomkins has made the difference to Crystal Palace after joining from West Ham. He has shored up the defence. His positional play is really good and his movement is perfect. Watch how many times he looks over his shoulder to keep an eye on the attacker during a game. It's good communication helping out his partner, and he's a patient and composed defender. He talks very well and the big thing is he defends first. He's been a great signing for Palace.
