It was arguably the best performance yet of Aitor Karanka's nearly three years as Middlesbrough manager.

They had their backs to the wall for much of it, but Boro might have taken all three points off Arsenal with just one of several excellent openings carved out on the counter.

"Amazing", the Spaniard says of his side's showing.

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 West Brompublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Philippe Coutinho

Not one for the Tony Pulis scrapbook. It's going from bad to worse for the Baggies, and it's all of their own making.

Darren Fletcher plays bouncing back-pass to keeper Ben Foster, who slices it up high. Fletcher is under it, and his poor touch lets Sadio Mane feed Philippe Coutinho, who cuts inside two players in the box to drive in at the near post beyond the star-shaped Foster.

You can follow that game over here.

  20. Winner was offside - Moyespublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    West Ham 1-0 Sunderland

    Sunderland

Sunderland manager David Moyes: "It was offside. It should be given offside. The referee thinks it is onside.

"You can tell by the referee's movement to the linesman that he is not sure, they weren't sure but it was not a goal.

"I thought the players played well. Not in the opening 20 minutes, they bossed us but we got through it and had good chances. I am very pleased with the performance but not the result.

"I thought we did good things. I did not enjoy the first part but the second half we were not threatened and if anything we looked more likely to score.

"You have to take your chances. I said in the last few weeks there have been signs of improvement, I thought the players showed it today."
