It's a useful knack Norwich have developed, of hanging in games when they have really been second best.

Newcastle 1-1 Norwich
The St James' park faithful boo at half time - more likely at the referee rather than at their own team.
Having dominated the first half in terms of chances, they go in level after giving away a late penalty.
Dwight Gayle impressed in the first 20 minutes, having a number of chances before giving the Mapgies the lead, while Matt Ritchie hit the bar.
But Norwich have held on and took their chance from 12 yards as Graham Dorrans converted a late penalty after Robbie Brady was fouled by Yoan Gouffran.

Norwich need to work the ball into wide areas. The two Newcastle full-backs do not want to defend. Every time they try and go past them, they beat them.
Robbie Brady
Brady puts in a tough challenge and DeAndre Yedlin and the referee makes him the first Norwich player in the book.
Graham Dorrans (pen)
Graham Dorrans sends goalkeeper Karl Darlow the wrong way from 12 yards, and against the run of play Norwich are level.

... he's ok. Jonjo Shelvey's made of much sterner stuff than that.
Newcastle 1-0 Norwich
Jonjo Shelvey might be in trouble here. The Newcastle midfielder looks in a lot of pain after landing awkwardly on his ankle. The physio is on....
Newcastle 1-0 Norwich
It's Gayle again - this time he drives into the near post after a nice curling ball in from Jonjo Shelvey, but McGovern is there to save
Newcastle 1-0 Norwich
Not the start that Norwich boss Alex Neil would have been looking for.
A goal down, and it could quite easily have been three, he must be wondering what he can do to try and stem the dominance of the home side.
Newcastle 1-0 Norwich
Robbie Brady is flagged offside as Norwich try and respond after a lovely cross in from Jacob Murphy.

Grant Holt
Former Norwich City striker on BBC Radio Norfolk
That was too easy. Norwich will be disappointed with that. It's happened three or four times in the past 20 minutes - a nice, easy ball across the park.
Dwight Gayle
Finally, Dwight Gayle does it. Having missed a couple of great chances the former Crystal Palace striker makes no mistake as he gets on the end of Matt Richie's cross from the right and he grabs his fifth of the season.
Newcastle 0-0 Norwich
Dummett's cross in and Matt Ritchie heads the ball against the Norwich bar as Newcastle continue to pressurise the visitors.

It is all Newcastle at St James' Park. Norwich are riding their luck. Newcastle will wonder how they're not in front.
Newcastle 0-0 Norwich
Dwight Gayle yet again. This time he gets on the end of an excellent Matt Richie corner, it's headed goalwards by Gayle but Norwich survive as it goes straight at goalkeeper Michael McGovern.
Newcastle 0-0 Norwich
Steve Harper
Former Newcastle keeper on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra
I think he has to score to be honest. He's in the middle of the goal, 14 yards out. He just snatches at it.
Newcastle 0-0 Norwich
Dwight Gayle again - he should have scored. Big ball over the top, the former Palace man is too strong for Martin, but snatches at it and under pressure and puts it wide of the post.
