Yaya Toure was with the main group at the open section of Manchester City training ahead of their Champions League tie with Celtic on Wednesday. Toure has been told by manager Pep Guardiola he will not be considered for selection until there is an apology for comments made by his agent. The Ivorian, who was wearing a blue and white club scarf, is not eligible for selection for tomorrow's game. His omission from Guardiola's European squad triggered the inflammatory comments from Dimitry Seluk that led to the rift. England midfielder Fabian Delph was not present due to injury. Also missing were captain Vincent Kompany and attacker Kevin de Bruyne, who both went to Barcelona yesterday for scans on groin and hamstring injuries respectively.

  11. Fixture amendmentspublished at 10:11 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

We've just got news of two changes to Scottish fixtures, "at the request of the clubs".

In the Premiership, Dundee v Hearts has been moved from 15:00 on Christmas Eve to 19:45 on Friday 23 December.

And Dundee United v St Mirren in the Championship has been switched from a 15:00 kick-off on Christmas Eve to the earlier time of 12:30.

Clearly, this leaves more time to buy very last-minute presents.

  15. Not so passive Celticpublished at 09:15 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

Celtic face the daunting but thrilling prospect of playing Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday night. A defeat would leave Brendan Rodgers' team with a very difficult task if they are to reach the tournament's last 16, after losing 7-0 in their opening match away to Barcelona.

Rodgers has been telling BBC Sport's Football Focus that Celtic will have to be more aggressive than their performance in the Camp Nou.
