And so, on a weekend that has seen the Premier League topped by three different teams, Liverpool go into the international break on top of the pile.

In all, two points cover the top four. When the top flight returns in two weeks, we begin with the small matter of Manchester United v Arsenal.

    Bye for now.

  3. 'We have to prove ourselves to the fans''published at 18:55 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2016

    Swansea 1-3 Man Utd

Swansea manager Bob Bradley on the negative reaction of the home fans before half-time: "The first half we brought it on ourselves. We worked hard all week and when we fall behind by three goals we have to accept the fans aren't satisfied, neither are we. We have to prove to our fans we can get results.

"I would have hoped in my earlier games to take more points. But I understand that in the Premier League you have to fight every week. The dressing room knows that - we're all on the same page."

More from West Brom boss Tony Pulis: "Matt Phillips should score a lot more goals, it is confidence that is the problem for him. He has the tools to be a very good player.

"He has got everything a top player needs, power and strength and quality on the ball. The big weakness is his belief, he should have no doubts at all.

"I have had a chat with the Chinese owners about bringing good players in over the next few windows, Nacer Chadli came in and has been first class - that is what the club have to do."

West Brom manager Tony Pulis, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a very good performance, against a very good team.

"The team showed good character after Leicester scored. The experienced players help us, but I would like to bring some younger players in, to move us on we need to bring some quality in and I have spoken to the Chinese owners.

"Instead of signing five or six players, bring one or two that have quality like Nacer Chadli."

    Swansea 1-3 Man Utd

    Swansea City

Swansea boss Bob Bradley, speaking to BBC Sport: "We got pushed deep and they punished us. Paul Pogba smacks a great volley and then we seemed to drop. They had too much of the ball and we were not confident enough, you can't give a good team that much space.

"We have to be honest with ourselves, in the first half we were too easy to play against, we let them totally dictate the match.

"We haven't found a consistent group yet. If you look at the four games I think we should have more than one point. We need more time but when I say that I don't talk about time without results, it has to be time with results."

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri, speaking to BBC Sport: "We tried to do our match, the first half wasn't so good, the second was better.

"Today it wasn't so easy, maybe played too much in Champions League.

"The first time not fluid, very tough. It is strange for us. We have to speak to find solution together. I am unhappy because we lost our home record.

"We have to stay together as we did last season when everything was right."

    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Phil Jones: "It's been a long and frustrating time for me but I am delighted with the win, and to have got back playing again.

"As a footballer all you want to do is play football, but hopefully it's onwards and upwards now. I just want to play as many games as possible for Manchester United.

"That was one of the best attacking performance we've had, we probably should have been four or five goals up by half -time. Everyone to a man was terrific."

West Brom captain Darren Fletcher, speaking to Sky Sports: "We came here today with a real positive attitude and we got a great win. We did alright here last year and drew 2-2, so we thought we could replicate that.

"We needed it for ourselves, we desperately needed the three points for ourselves.

"We started the season well and should have picked up more points, the lads realised that. The fans were behind us today, this was one of those games that meant a lot. We get three points and pushed ourselves back up the league."

Goalscorer Matt Phillips: "It shows you what a tough league this is, to go from fourth bottom to the top half. We are delighted to get the three points."
