Is Harry Winks the latest talent to roll of the Tottenham production line? Today's display certainly suggests so.

Harry Kane got the official man of the match award but the coveted Gary Rose man of the match trophy goes to Harry Winks. 

I thought that for him to come into a London derby and score a crucial equaliser was hugely impressive for a 20-year-old.

West Ham United

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic says: "We are extremely disappointed and when you are 2-1 up with three minutes to go to concede two goals is very hard to take. We had three really good opportunities to score the third.

"I think we were the better side in the first half hour then we started to lose the ball quite quickly. After we scored (to make it 2-1) that was the crucial time to hold on or score a third.

"We had some good counter attacks and we should have killed the game. We have a tough schedule but we showed we can put in a really good performance."

On the sending off of Winston Reid, Bilic added: "He was really good so that is a blow for us. To lose him for a game is a bit harsh."

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says: "It was really important to get the three points, it was a very tough game I'm very pleased with the performance.

"West Ham were very good and we showed big character and personality, the team always try to find the goal and for that I am very pleased. The players fought until the last minute and the reward was unbelievable.

"We created more than West Ham and if one team deserved to win at the end it was us. It is true it was not our best game, but it is a fantastic win.

"Harry Kane is always very important, he is our main striker and one of the best strikers in the world. You miss that type of player when he does not play for 10 or 11 games. The table looks much better, we are three points off the top and 12 unbeaten from the beginning.

"On Tuesday we have a big, big game against Monaco, we must win and it will be difficult."

That could potentially be a very big three points for Tottenham. 

They were minutes away from a defeat that would leave them four points adrift of the top four. As it is, they are one point behind Arsenal and three off leaders Liverpool.

Quite a gap opening up to sixth now as well...

Harry Winks, who scored his first Spurs goal on his full Premier League debut, said: "For me after I scored it was just a bit of a blur, but it was brilliant. I realised yesterday I was in the team so I had to get myself ready."

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham striker Harry Kane said: "What a win, it looked like it would be a disappointing afternoon. I thought we had played well and we left it late, what a night, what a performance.

"We wanted to win and give the fans something to cheer about and a lot of them will go home happy."

On their vital Champions League match at Monaco on Tuesday, he added: "It is an important week and we didn't want to go into that game having lost the first one. It is a must-win game, we're excited, we'll train tomorrow and travel on Monday."

With Harry Winks and Harry Kane on the scoresheet it was all about the Harrys today.

Given that late escape act, I wouldn't be surprised if Harry Houdini was watching over as well...

It was a pulsating match. The outcome could have been anything. Spurs hung in there and have broken their drawing run. West Ham need a win from somewhere.

Mauricio Pochettino hugs Slaven Bilic. There's good camaraderie between the two but Bilic will be in shock. West Ham were minutes away from victory.

It gets even worse for West Ham. Winston Reid is sent off after sending Harry Kane tumbling to the ground. He'd only come back from suspension today.

The ground has erupted. It was a great penalty. Credit to Pochettino. They were behind and he has kept Kane on, despite him having been out for a while in October. 

The minute it kicked off this game has been open. Both sides have had their moments. I can't see any other goals now.

Harry Kane had barely had a sniff all game but was where he needed to be when it mattered. He then kept his cool to score the penalty. 

The Tottenham fans are bouncing. Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat.
