    Tottenham 0-1 West Ham

One last chance for Tottenham as Victor Wanyama strides into the area, but he's well marshalled by Manuel Lanzini and in the end can only hoof a shot well over.

    And that's half time.

    Tottenham 0-1 West Ham

There's a clash of heads just before the break, Christian Eriksen and Cheikhou Kouyate colliding as they challenge for the ball and both need a lengthy bit of treatment.

Eventually, they get up and are good to go once again.

Two minutes of time added on.

A brilliant cross from Danny Rose. He can do no more than that, firing it into the gully across six-yard box. There just wasn't anyone there to make the touch.

    Tottenham 0-1 West Ham

West Ham are having to withstand a bit of pressure as half-time approaches. Tottenham are desperate to get back level before the break and Danny Rose has space just inside the box, he whips an inviting ball across the face of goal but there's no team-mate waiting to get on the end of it. Missed opportunity.

Tottenham are back on the attack, trying to prise open the West Ham defence but there's no way through. Darren Randolph still hasn't had a shot to save yet.

    Tottenham 0-1 West Ham

There's another chance for West Ham from a set piece as Mousa Dembele fouls Diafra Sakho. Dembele is booked and West Ham have a free-kick 25 yards out, but Dimitri Payet's shot hits the wall and goes over for a corner.

West Ham deal with the corner but Slaven Bilic is fuming as moments later Vincent Janssen goes in heavy on Cheikhou Kouyate right in front of the Hammers boss. Mauricio Pochettino sheepishly offers Kouyate a hand to get up while Bilic rages at the referee. Nothing given.

Michail Antonio loves a header. He's scored 11 goals with his bonce in the Premier League this year, more than twice as many as any other player. Deadly.

Tottenham have the chance to respond with a free-kick as Manuel Lanzini fouls Danny Rose, earning the Hammers man a booking.

Christian Eriksen sends a pass needlessly out of play. Tottenham are a little bit shaken by that goal as they try to respond.

Kouyate's header deserved a goal but their anticipation to keep the ball in the box was very good. Antonio was alert to get his head to the ball.

    Where has this come from?

Tottenham were in control, with West Ham offering little but from their first real attack they take the lead.

It comes from a corner, which Dimitri  Payet whips in. Cheikhou Kouyate meets it to power a bullet of a header against the crossbar, Wintson Reid hooks the rebound back in and Michail Antonio is there to head in from close range.

Spurs, unbeaten so far in the league, are rocked.

Teams are conscious of Spurs' pressing and quick regain style under Mauricio Pochettino so they get men back. They don't want to get caught out.

The atmosphere was superb before kick off but it's gone off the boil a bit now. A mixture of a cold night and not a lot happening on the pitch probably contributing to that.

It's not been a great game so far.

Almost all of Tottenham's attacks are going down the left at the moment. Cheikhou Kouyate is often finding himself having to deal with one of Danny Rose, Harry Winks or Harry Kane on his own.

Still, no shots on target yet. For either side.

Harry Winks again. He's picked out down the left by Danny Rose and he cuts the ball back for Christian Eriksen on the edge of the area, but the midfielder takes a touch too many as he tries to work some space and is tackled. Chance gone.

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Good, jinking run by Michail Antonio ends with the winger powering an effort over from just outside the box.

West Ham are keen to have their wide players cut inside, but the Tottenham defence is doing a decent job of limiting their chances so far.

Harry Winks has been busy in the opening 10 minutes. He's involved in another Tottenham attack as he collects the ball in midfield, turns and feeds Harry Kane. The England striker spies a chance from distance but sends his shot just wide.

Victor Wanyama and Danny Rose combine to halt Diafra Sakho's forward run and Tottenham turn defence into attack. Nothing comes of it, though.
