Swansea need to bank up their defence - their back four is all over the place. Tottenham are pinging around passes and working their way right through the middle.

    Tottenham 3-0 Swansea

I think we're safe to call this one too. Spurs are grooving their way into party mode.

But Christian Eriksen dives a bit too greedily into the jelly and ice cream, shanking a terrible shot wide from range.

  3. 'Game, set and match'published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 3-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

A new contract for Harry Kane and he's wrapped up the three points for his team here tonight. It was all about the pace of the counter-attack, Dele Alli whipping the ball down the field to begin with. Kane, backing up Son, thundered it in to the bottom corner. That's game, set and match.

    Harry Kane

Just when Swansea had shown signs of threatening with an extra striker on the park, Spurs punish them on the counter.

Son Heung-min is played through by Dele Alli, and the South Korean could have gone it alone with a better touch.

But here comes Harry Kane, steaming in to turn Son's heavy control into the perfect lay-off, powering the ball low past Lukasz Fabianksi from just inside the box. He's on a hat-trick...

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Swansea

Swansea have chucked on striker Fernando Llorente. Midfielder Jay Fulton the man to make way.

Llorente got two goals in stoppage time as Swansea came from behind to win 5-4 against Crystal Palace last weekend. Lightning twice?

Spurs are unchanged. Can they see this out?

Only Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris have had fewer touches than Son Heung-min in the Tottenham XI in that first half.

Maybe not the most influential performance from the South Korean, but one of those 26 touches was a belter.

  7. 'Spurs have dominated possession'published at 15:54 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

They have not created the clear cut opportunities but they've been the better side offensively. Tottenham have dominated possession. They were maybe a little lucky with the penalty but the second goal was spectacular from Son Hueng-min. There's been a distinct lack of opportunity for Swansea.

  8. 'Pure technique from Son'published at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Swansea

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Final Score

Technique, pure technique, from Son. He was actually rocking backwards but he managed to adjust his body and get an excellent strike on the ball. Right into the corner and the keeper was well beaten.

    Son Heung-min

What a brilliant, brilliant finish. Masterful.

Leaning back with the ball low down on the bounce, Son Heung-min smashes home on the volley to double Spurs' lead.

There might have been a little luck in the way it ricocheted into his path, but take nothing away from that glorious strike. It sails in past Lukasz Fabianksi's stricken gloves.

  11. 'Alli went down too easily'published at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 1-0 Swansea

    Alex Scott
Arsenal Ladies & England right-back on Final Score

If you're a Spurs fan you'll be happy with that, but there's no way that was a penalty. Some are saying there was a little contact, but I don't see it. Certainly Alli went down too easily.

  12. 'It was a dive'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 1-0 Swansea

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Final Score

Was that a soft penalty? Does 'soft' mean 'a dive'? Because Dele Alli has dived. I can see why the referee gave it, because it's hard to distinguish whether or not he got caught. But it was a dive.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 42 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Swansea

Lukas Fabianksi comes out to smother at Dele Alli''s feet to deny Spurs what could well have been a killer second just before the break.

Alli's not going to be the most popular guy in south Wales tonight, that's fair to say. Watching the replay of that penalty decision, theatrical is the word that comes to mind.

  14. 'Emphatic strike from Kane'published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 1-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

It just seemed an age before Jonathan Moss gave the decision. It's an emphatic strike into the bottom corner from Harry Kane, a wonderful strike. He is not going to pass up that opportunity.

    Harry Kane (penalty)

Decisively tucked into the corner by Harry Kane.

A deserved lead but it's well worth looking at the penalty decision again. Lukasz Fabianksi's certainly not happy about it - he's just gone in the book for letting the ref know what he made of it.

  16. PENALTY TO SPURSpublished at 38 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

Kyle Naughton trips Dele Alli in the box and the referee points to the spot - after an age of thinking time.

Naughton is shaking his head. It looks soft...

Another chance for a Christian Eriksen set piece as Dele Alli is sent to the turf via Jordi Amat's shove.

Can the Dane deliver? He could have a go from here, tight angle from the right...

Saved by Lukasz Fabianski again. Straight at him.

  18. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

    Frustrating from Son Heung-min.

A brilliant turn in the middle takes out two Swansea men with one touch, and as he bears down on goal there's a huge space down the right if he can play in Kyle Walker.

But Son goes the other way instead - laying it off for Mousa Dembele alongside him - and with an easy block Swansea evade the danger.

  19. CHANCE!published at 29 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

    Lovely feet from Dele Alli.

A backheel into the path of Victor Wanyama who's got space to shoot from the edge of the box...

But the Kenyan's effort is tame. Easily gathered. Gylfi Sigurdsson might have buried that...

  20. 'Walker's shot was fierce'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

Kyle Walker has got Vaseline across his eyes, strapping on his right wrist but the shot was fierce. It was dipping into the top corner and Fabianski had to be bright and alert to tip it around.
