I have no issues with Bob Bradley but he talks about breaking down the opposition while his team are conceding basic goals.

The ball is played into the six yard box and it is goal.

If you want to stay in the Premier League they are the goals you have to eradicate very quickly.

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

That Randolph save is even better on second viewing - Swansea's scrappy attempts to find a goal from the resulting corner less so.

A second corner but nothing doing again for the hosts.

  3. CLOSE!published at 55 mins

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

This is brighter from Jack Cork though, taking a chance to test Darren Randolph from 30 yards but the Hammers keeper is equal to it - pushing it round for a corner.

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

If the atmosphere was poor at the Liberty before that, it's positively mutinous now.

Swansea look shot. West Ham have barely had to go up the gears and find themselves 2-0 up and fully in control.

Swansea. Defending. They just don't mix.

It's a corner to West Ham from the left, delivered brilliantly as ever by Dimitri Payet and Winston Reid eases himself free to power a header beyond Lukasz Fabianski.

It's a textbook header but too easy for Reid to work himself between two Swansea defenders.

Borja Baston had a first half to forget - missing a good chance, generally looking out of sorts and, perhaps most ingloriously, wearing gloves with a short-sleeved shirt.

No surprise he's been taken off at half-time. How long before we place him next to Bosko Balaban in the pantheon of expensive, misfiring strikers with the initials BB?

So can those two subs make the difference for Swansea? They don't have much to measure themselves against...Jay Fulton was largely absent and Borja Baston was an even rarer presence - aside from one poor effort.

Montero already makes a dart into the box, West Ham clear though.

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

It's a double substitution actually for Swansea - Llorente is on for Borja Baston and Jefferson Montero replaces Jay Fulton.

    We're back under way...

  9. Postpublished at 16:00

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Looks like Fernando Llorente is ready to come on for Swansea at half-time...

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Mark Noble leads the visitors back out of the tunnel and we're not far off the start of the second half.

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

West Ham know the blueprint for the second half - early crosses and movement in the Swansea box.

For the hosts, they need a spark from somewhere. All very flat at the Liberty so far.

Talking of Bob Bradley's words, some genius (depending on your definition) has gone through his interviews and has counted the number of "Americanisms" he has used.

It's not actually as many as some are making out...

And that's your lot from the first 45. West Ham largely comfortable despite having their goal handed to them by a leaky Swansea backline.

Gylfi Sigurdsson went close with a free-kick but Bob Bradley is going to have to find some inspiring words to get his side going after the interval.

Yes they can but again the finish isn't there. A great ball in from Wayne Routledge and Jack Cork is under it but steers his header well over Darren Randolph's bar.

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Not long to go in the first half, can Swansea make anything happen before the break?

  16. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

A really good save from Randolph but another foot or two towards the post and that would've been 1-1.

Swansea can't fashion anything from the corner and West Ham are back on the front foot.

Michail Antonio works himself free for a shot but curls it wide of the right-hand post.

  17. CLOSE!published at 41 mins

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

It's a great effort by Sigurdsson, full of dip and curve but perhaps too much of the latter as Darren Randolph gets across to parry it out for a corner.

  18. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Sigurdsson tries to make amends by lifting a free-kick into a dangerous area and it's behind for a corner off Carroll back defending well...

The hosts go towards the back post and West Ham clear but a foul from Ayew gives Swansea a free-kick right in front, 25 yards out... up steps Sigurdsson...

  19. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Swansea down the right again and the ball is played into Sigurdsson but he stabs at it off-balance and his shot ends up dribbling off for a throw in.

Sums up Swansea's game so far.

  20. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Swansea 0-1 West Ham

Spell of possession for Swansea here, albeit with little threat. They need something to lift this crowd.
