A great finish from Grant Leadbitter after a lovely knock-down by Alvaro Negredo. But it was a quality finish from Leadbitter, hard and low.

    Would you believe it!

Having kept Manchester United at bay all game, Boro go to the other end and nick a goal.

Calum Chambers pops the ball into the box onto the head of Alvaro Negredo, whose lay off is straight into the pasth of Grant Leadbitter.

The Boro skipper sets himself and drills a low finish into the net.

Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho are stunned.

  5. GOOD SAVE!published at 65 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Boro continue to survive.

This time Ander Herrera finds Anthony Martial on the edge of the box with a fizzing pass, but the Frenchman's curling effort, one of those where he is trying to get it into the opposite corner, does not have enough bend and is easy for Victor Valdes to gather.

    First sub of the game.

  8. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Middlesbrough

A hairy moment for Boro, as Ben Gibson sticks a leg out to intercept a cross, but the ball loops over the advancing Victor Valdes, who scurries back to catch the ball on the line.

United need something like that to go in today.

    Jose Mourinho is simmering.

When the ball goes out of play he is starting to get agitated if it doesn't come back quickly enough from the ball boys or the crowd, depending where it has gone.

He is complaining to the fourth official regularly.

His frustration, beyond Zlatan Ibrahimovic's disallowed goal, seems to centre around Middlesbrough and their perceived time wasting.

Be interesting to see how this unfolds.

  14. CLOSE!published at 53 mins

Paul Pogba strides from half way to the edge of the area before feeding his BFF Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede's cross-come-shot is into the path of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who pokes wide.

    He was offside anyway.

  15. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are on a level.

The Frenchman teases the Boro defence before playing the ball through to his buddy, but Ibrahimovic's shot from six yards out is blocked by Victor Valdes.

From the corner, Pogba attempts another overhead kick but it sails wide of goal.

This could turn into a frustrating afternoon for the Reds if they don't find the back of the net soon.
