Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson gets his name taken, and can't have any arguments after a foul on Nathaniel Clyne.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
Liverpool had 72% of the ball in the first half, and start the second brightly. Roberto Firmino's pass finds Nathaniel Clyne in the penalty area, but the chance is wasted with an embarrassing air-kick from the England international.
By the way, Dejan Lovren now has the Liverpool captain's armband after James Milner went off.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
A half-time substitution for Liverpool with Alberto Moreno coming on to replace James Milner.
Milner, who had been the Reds' stand-in captain today, was on a yellow card.
And we are back under way.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
The half-time stats indicate Liverpool's dominance. But we are still level in the only stat that really matters.

Elsewhere in the Premier League
We mentioned early on that five-year-old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery, who is seriously ill with neuroblastoma, has won Match of the Day's Goal of the Month award.
Now you can enjoy the goal again here.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
But it is a complete waste and that is the half-time whistle.
Liverpool have dominated possession and took the lead through Daniel Sturridge's second Premier League goal of the season.
However, the lead only lasted for six minutes before Jermain Defoe converted a penalty after Ragnar Klavan tripped Didier Ndong.
Vito Mannone has been in fine form to deny any more Liverpool goals and we go in at the break one apiece.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
And in the last few seconds of the half, Sunderland have a corner.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
Liverpool's James Milner swings in the set-piece towards the near post but Fabio Borini does well to head clear any danger.

A corner to Liverpool in injury time.

Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
Another good save from Vito Mannone, who is certainly earning his money today. Daniel Sturridge cuts in from the right flank, on to his left foot and shoots from 20 yards with the ball bouncing just in front of the diving goalkeeper.
But Mannone does well to push it to safety. We remain at 1-1.

Vieira151: I don't care that it's only half an hour in, please take Can off, Klopp. He is playing absolutely abysmal.
Ali-Reza Panjwani: No chance getting 3 points today. Just have that 'LFC / inconsistent / let it slip / Palace type' feeling. Sorry lads.#LFC, external

Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Final Score
It's definitely a penalty. He (Didier Ndong) goes through Wijnaldum and Klavan, Klavan sticks his leg out and it's a foul.
But what a penalty that is from Jermain Defoe, under pressure, it almost goes in off the post.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
James Milner is wearing the captain's armband for Liverpool today with Jordan Henderson out injured. And the stand-in captain has just become the first Reds player to be booked, for a foul on former team-mate Fabio Borini.
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
What a chance for Sunderland and they should be ahead. Jermain Defoe breaks the Liverpool offside trap after Adnan Januzaj's through ball and the striker is one-on-one with away goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
But Mignolet does well to get a hand on to it, with Fabio Borini shooting wide from the rebound.
Jermain Defoe (Sunderland, penalty)
That is his 10th goal of the season and Jermain Defoe has brought Sunderland level. His penalty is right in the bottom corner, Simon Mignolet dived the right way but could not stop it.
Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool
But Sunderland have an instant chance to equalise after Ragnar Klavan bundles over Didier Ndong in the penalty area.
Jermain Defoe to take it.
Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)
It had been coming, and Liverpool take a deserved lead.
A corner from the right falls to Dejan Lovren, who mishits a shot at goal, with the ball bouncing down into the ground, but Daniel Sturridge reacts fastest to flick a header from four yards out past Vito Mannone.
That is only Sturridge's second Premier League goal of the season.
