    It is all looking good for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

    They are second in the Premier League and will move three points behind leaders Chelsea with a win today as Antonio Conte's side are not in action until Wednesday when they play at Tottenham.

    And this is the situation at the bottom of the Premier League after Middlesbrough and Leicester's goalless draw in the early kick-off. A win today will take Sunderland out of the bottom three as Crystal Palace do not play until tomorrow, when they entertain Swansea.

    It could well be a big day for 20-year-old Sunderland midfielder Michael Ledger. He has played four teams in the Checkatrade Trophy for the club's under-23s but could well make a first-team debut later on.

    Sunderland make three changes from the side that lost 4-1 at Burnley on 31 December.

    Donald Love replaces the suspended Billy Jones, while Didier Ndong and Jack Rodwell come in for the injured Lamine Kone (hip) and Victor Anichebe (hamstring).

    Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been ruled out for about 10 days because of a heel injury and in comes Daniel Sturridge in the only change from the side that beat Manchester City 1-0 two days ago.

    Sturridge, who has only scored one Premier League goal this season, is making his first league start since a goalless draw against Manchester United on 17 October.
