Liverpool may look great in their build up play but if they fail to pick up the three points it will be their finishing as much as Southampton's defending to blame. They've only managed one shot on target - from Sadio Mane in the first half - with six off target. Three of those missed efforts were from decent positions inside the area.

That was too easy - Pablo Zabaleta doesn't give Connor Wickham enough pressure. The goalkeeper has got to do better as well

Bottom of the Football League they may be, but Newport County are going to make it three wins in a row - and they are pretty happy with their third goal at Notts County.

Former Leeds manager Steve Evans is celebrating at the moment in his first game for Mansfield, they lead Crawley 3-0.

Mike Phelan will be tearing his hair out at this miss...what he has left of it.

Excellent play from Robert Snodgrass down the left, feeding a ball into the area for Ryan Mason, but the ex-Tottenham man drags his shot wide from eight-yards out.

    Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham boss on 5 live Sport

Brilliant play by Coutinho to set up Firminho. That was the best chance of the game. Liverpool are mesmeric when they start their attacking in the final third. Southampton are surviving at the moment. They will be so tired tomorrow and if they can take a point or even snatch a win they will have deserved it for the work they have put in.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-1 Man Citypublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Connor Wickham

Palace are level! Substitute Connor Wickham makes it two goals in two games after collecting a ball across the box from Wilfried Zaha, beating Pablo Zabaleta and firing a low shot that is too powerful for Claudio Bravo. It could have been so different - barely 30 seconds earlier, Sergio Aguero had seen a flick-shot cleared off the line by Joel Ward.

    Watford 2-1 Leicester

Oh, he has to score! Roberto Pereyra is unmarked in the box, eight yards out and meets Daryl Janmaat's cross with his head but can't steer his effort far enough away from Ron-Robert Zieler, who pushes the ball away.

  10. CLOSE!published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

Here is the chance and Roberto Firmino should have buried it.

The magician Philippe Coutinho plays a pass through the eye of a needle into the path of his Brazilian colleague, but Firmino stabbed effort from inside the area dribbles wide of goal.

Lovely stuff from Philippe Coutinho without touching the ball.

His dummy takes out the entire Southampton defence, leaving Emre Can with a free run into the box, but the German strangles his left-footed shot wide of goal.

    Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool look a little jaded after the international break and have not been in full gegenpressing flow today.

If they get one, you fancy them to get three or four after, but Southampton themselves have posed a threat at the other end.

    Everton 0-1 Swansea

Terrible free-kick from Ross Barkley. It is 25 yards from goal and central but the midfielder fires his low effort into the base of the wall. Was he trying something cheeky, hoping for a big jump from the men in front of him? It stays 1-0 to the visitors.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

From clearing the ball at one end, to missing a glorious chance at the other.

Charlie Austin should do better, rising above Nathaniel Clyne at the back post, but he heads wide from Cedric Soares's inch-perfect cross.
