    Crystal Palace 3-0 Southampton

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace defender Damian Delaney, speaking to BBC Sport: "We're very happy. It's been a hard few weeks. We've just said in the changing room that we need to build on this. Come in on Monday and work hard this week, as we have another big game next Saturday."

"Last year we weren't scoring many goals and now we are, but we're conceding lots. It's a collective responsibility. It was important to get the win but a clean sheet was nice."

"Everyone had a long hard look at themselves after last week's performance.

"The relief for the manager was massive."

Crystal Palace's first win in seven sees them climb away from the bottom three, with Burnley, Leciester, Middlesbrough and West Ham all falling, for now at least. Champions Leicester are only two points above the drop zone.

To digest the lay of the land after those 3pm results, it's worth a glance at the table. Sunderland are off the bottom, replaced by a very leaky Swansea side. Next week? The Black Cats go to Wales. Tasty.

  8. 'Swansea's hierarchy need to look at Bob Bradley'published at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 5-0 Swansea

    Alex Scott
Arsenal Ladies & England right-back on Final Score

I don't get it! I don't care what the scoreline is, why aren't Tottenham celebrating scoring all these goals?

Swansea's hierarchy need to take a look at Bob Bradley, because even last week when they won they shipped a load of goals. The Swans look like they don't even know each other's names.

  9. 'A remarkable striker'published at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Sunderland 2-1 Leicester City

An incredible goalscoring record, Jermain Defoe's. He's a remarkable striker.

Delight at the Stadium of Light. A big win for the home side against the reigning Premier League champions.

Sunderland are up to 18th, a point behind West Ham and Middlesbrough. And next week they play Swansea...

Leicester are winless in their last five league matches and are just two points above the relegation zone.

    Sunderland 2-1 Leicester

Leicester keeper Ron-Robert Zieler trots up for the corner! But it is opposite number Jordan Pickford who is the star of the set-piece. The ball bobbles about, Wes Morgan shoots but Pickford denies him with a reaction save.

    West Brom 3-1 Watford

West Brom are sixth in the Premier League. Let that sink in for a moment. If you're a Baggies fan that has been staying away, maybe get yourself back down to The Hawthorns. Tony Pulis is a football genius.

  14. 'Could have been double figures'published at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 5-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

This could have been double figures with the chances Spurs have created in the second half. That goal was too easy, Sissoko wasn't tracked and he had time to control it and roll it into Eriksen's path.

    Tottenham 5-0 Swansea

As we thought it might have been. A complete shellacking. Swansea are lucky it was only five. They look safe bets to go down.

    Stoke 2-0 Burnley

After a dodgy start, Stokes are heading in the right direction. They were excellent in the first half, only for Burnley to fight in the second. They must figure out a way of earning points away from home.

  17. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Crystal Palace 3-0 Southampton

HUGE win for Palace. Two goals from birthday boy Christian Benteke and another by James Tomkins eases the pressure on Alan Pardew and lifts Palace up to 14th.

Pards might even watch Match of the Day tonight with a glass of red.

  18. Postpublished at 16:51 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Sunderland 2-1 Leicester

David Moyes is animated on the touchline, barking out instructions and cajoling his players. The Sunderland fans respond too, raising the decibel level as they try to cheer their team over the line.

GOAL - Tottenham 5-0 Swanseapublished at 16:51 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Christian Eriksen (90 mins)

This scoreline might even flatter Swansea a little. Christan Eriksen rounds off the rout. Moussa Sissoko runs beyond the Swans defence to collect a through ball, checks the ball back to Eriksen, who seeps in his second. Bob Bradley looks like he wants to cry.

    Sunderland 2-1 Leicester

Plenty of time for Leicester to get a goal or two. Or for Sunderland. We're going to have six minutes of stoppage time after a delay for an injury to Duncan Watmore a few moments ago.
