    Hull 0-0 Crystal Palace

Early points for Hull City, who take full advantage of the new rule stating a kick-off does not have to be passed forward.

Tom Huddlestone stands all alone on the centre spot and rolls it back to his team-mates. Lovely.

There's a minute's applause at Hull City to celebrate the life of club legend Brian Bulless, who played 377 times for the Tigers and died aged 83 this week.

  4. 'Everton a work in progress'published at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Watford 3-2 Everton

    Terry Butcher

It is a work in progress there. They had a blistering start but have hit a wall and not recovered. He (Ronald Koeman) said he wants them to be proactive rather than reactive.

When it was 3-1, they had nothing to lose and went for it, but should have done that before. He left out Ross Barkley as a lesson to everyone, but the marking was poor for the second and third goals.

It doesn't matter what you do if you leave space at the back, they will score goals. He needs to get little things right before talking about stamping his identity.

Hull v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Hull boss Mike Phelan has just shown a turn of pace not seen since his playing days, as he legs it down the tunnel to get out in time for kick-off.

Not bad for a man in a suit.

  6. Bradley under pressurepublished at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Swansea v Sunderland

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Bob Bradley may only have been in charge of Swansea since the start of October, but the American is already under pressure.

There is a feeling around the Liberty Stadium that Bradley's future could hang in the balance if the Swans lose to relegation rivals Sunderland today.

And to compound that ominous atmosphere, Swansea's owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan have flown in from the United States to watch today's game.

They will also be at Swansea's match against West Brom on Wednesday. Might they have managerial changes on their minds?

Very gloomy at the Emirates, floodlights on full beam, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a midweek night game. Anyway, all about to get going in our four afternoon games.

Bob Bradley comes across as very positive, he is always looking for the best and he's been chucked in to the Swansea job. A lot of people wanted Ryan Giggs to get the job but we would be sat here now saying that Giggs has no experience. The facts are that Swansea as a club have been killing themselves by selling their best assets and season by season disintegrating. They have let strikers go every year without replacing them with any quality.

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Everton and Sunderland winger on Final Score

I like Christian Benteke - he is one of those players that relies on service like lots of strikers do.

When you have someone like Benteke, I would have liked to have seen Yannick Bolasie stay, but they still have Jason Puncheon and Wilfried Zaha so there is a lot of quality there.

  11. League Two todaypublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

The top three in League Two are stealing a march on the rest of the division - with Doncaster, Plymouth and Carlisle opening up a seven-point cushion on the chasing pack.

And two of the three meet today with Donny making the long trip to Devon. Carlisle - who have lost just once all season - also have a testing trip on the road as they face fifth-placed Luton. Expect a good crowd at that one.

Does five players living together help Yeovil out? We shall find out when they play Barnet.

Bottom side Newport, whose manager Graham Westley has been in entertaining mood off the pitch, could climb out of the relegation zone altogether with a win at home to Morecambe.

    Swansea v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)

    John Hartson
    Ex-Wales striker on Final Score

Swansea need experience, they need defenders. In the full-back areas they have not been great.

At the front end Fernando Llorente has two or three goals in 12, Baston, who they broke their transfer record for, it was a huge gamble in bringing him in. They need to start winning games.

  13. One from the top...published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Arsenal v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

Arsenal bring the only top-of-the-table interest to this afternoon's proceedings.

In fact, the Gunners can fire themselves to the summit of the Premier League with a win at home to Stoke, who in turn could put themselves up to the giddy heights of sixth with a victory.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are not to be trifled with at the minute, with nine goals in their last two games and Alexis Sanchez looking particularly frightening.

Chelsea fans will have an eye on this one - you can retake top spot when you face West Brom (12:00 GMT) tomorrow, should the Gunners knock you off your perch.

  14. 'Stoke going to Emirates with some confidence'published at 14:57

Arsenal v Stoke City (15:00 GMT)

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain at the Emirates for BBC 5 Live

Stoke have more confidence, but they always get beat here. They last won a game against Arsenal in 1981 when Lee Chapman scored. That was at Highbury. They must have seen the fixture and thought bad memories, but they are playing better.

Over the last last six games who had more points? You would say Arsenal, but it is Stoke by a point, so they are doing well. They have more confidence, score more goals, tougher to beat. They have improved.

Mark Hughes done a terrific job there. Teams that come up from the Championship must look at Stoke and think that is what we want to be.

If you're wondering why Bournemouth have dropped Jack Wilshere to the bench, days after being named the Cherries player of the month for November, then we have the answer from their manager.

"With three games in eight days we're managing Jack Wilshere's workload," said Eddie Howe. "Our challenge is to win back to back games."

BBC Sport's woman at a damp Liberty Stadium, Robyn Cowen, got the memo about cliches...

  17. Cliches ready: This is a 'six-pointer'published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Swansea v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

If you have a Premier League cliche checklist to hand, today is the day you can tick off the entry marked “six-pointer”.

Swansea, languishing at the foot of the table, host third-from-bottom Sunderland and, with only two points between the teams, this match could have an enormous bearing on the battle to avoid relegation.

Despite being the newest appointment in the Premier League, Swansea manager Bob Bradley is already under pressure having won only one of his seven games in charge.

Sunderland, meanwhile, are enjoying a revival under David Moyes, with three wins in their past four matches. This really is a huge match.
