    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

Swansea are looking tidy, but with questionable threat - I type that as Fernando Llorente heads wide.

But Sunderland are suggesting they can be potent on the break.

  2. goal

GOAL - Burnley 2-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Stephen Ward (16 mins)

The fist goal was a beauty, this is a beast. Terrible defending from Bournemouth to allow Ben Mee a free header from 10 yards out, it takes a deflection and when Artur Boruc can only spill it out, left-back Stephen Ward is there to slam home the loose change. An Irish goalfest!

    MK Dons 1-0 AFC Wimbledon

There was an intriguing early kick-off in League One today - MK Dons narrowly beat AFC Wimbledon, Dean Bowditch's second-half spot kick the difference between two sides both joined and hugely separated by history.

If you're not up to speed with the story between the two clubs, head over here and get to know.

    John Hartson
    Ex-Wales striker on Final Score

Hendrick's strike is a contender for goal of the season for me, not just for the finish but for the way he plucks it out of the air.

What a touch, the way he's brought that down. What a goal.

    Arsenal 0-0 Stoke

    Attack down the right much?

When you've got the pace of Theo Walcott out there, it's certainly not a bad option.

Stoke's Erik Pieters and Marc Muniesa have been doubling up trying to keep the forward at bay.

So far it's working, but Lee Camp had to chip in with a very good stop to deny Walcott the opening goal. Arsenal are knocking on the door.

    Hull 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace are taking a grip of proceedings at Hull.

James McCarthur is presented with a tricky near-post chance from Andros Townsend's cross - Michael Dawson does well to put himself between ball and goal.

  7. goal

GOAL - Burnley 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Jeff Hendrick (13 mins)

Oh hello! Jeff Hendrick with a entry for goal of the month, an absolute peach from the former Derby man. The ball is played into his run from midfield, one touch to settle it down and then he hits a looping, dipping shot on the bounce from 25 yards which lobs Artur Boruc and finds the top corner. Record-signing sort of stuff.

    Arsenal 0-0 Stoke City

Arsenal drive a big hole through the Stoke City defence and Theo Walcott slams in a shot which forces Lee Grant into a comfortable save.

All four sides of Turf Moor break into applause to mark a year since Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter lost his daughter.

    Arsenal 0-0 Stoke

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain at the Emirates for BBC Radio 5 live

This had been a bright and breezy start. Both sides have been guilty of giving the ball away. I don't think this will be goalless... That will be the kiss of death.

    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

Someone not making a decent start is Seb Larsson, who is starting his season today, having not played yet this term.

The Sunderland midfielder gives the ball away to Neil Taylor in his own right-back position - the cross is harmless but it could have been costly.

We'll put it down to rusty cobwebs.

Alexis Sanchez gives Lee Grant a scare in the Stoke goal as he hounds him into clearing into the Chilean's back. He made up so much room there. Pace to burn.

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

A decent start at Turf Moor too where Bournemouth have just tested the fit-again Tom Heaton. Ryan Fraser, fresh from giving Lucas and co nightmares, dances across the fringe of the area and when his low shot is blocked it spits out to Benik Afobe on the edge of the area. The former Arsenal man shoots on the bounce but Heaton is equal to it and pouches it.

Wilfried Zaha in actionImage source, Reuters

Wilfried Zaha has got a case of the livelies early on. The forward skips into the Hull area and drives a shot across goal - David Marshall makes a decent save to keep it out.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Stoke City

It's very open at the Emirates. Alexis Sanchez drags a cross right across goal at one end and within seconds Stoke counter superbly, it comes to the left and ends with Erik Pieters pinging the ball wide. Just needed a touch in the middle.

Mo Barrow? They should call him Mo Barrel - as the Swansea wideman barrels his way through the Sunderland lines of defence before being stopped just inside the area.

    Arsenal 0-0 Stoke City

Wow! What an effort by Stoke defender Marc Muniesa! He scored last week and he goes for goal when a corner is headed out, he's maybe 30 yards out and meets it on the full. A dipping volley has Petr Cech in all sorts of trouble but the ball just kisses the top of the bar on its way over...

    Hull 0-0 Crystal Palace

The first shot of the afternoon is a belter, in the terrible sense.

Hull's Jake Livermore swings at a half-volley from 20 yards out and it's over by about another 20 yards.

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

Burnley crash one down the middle for Sam Vokes to chase but Nathan Ake, hero of the hour at one end last week, climbs admirably high to meet it and nut it clear.
