    Celtic v Hamilton (19:45)

Brendan Rodgers faces Hamilton Academical as a manager for the first time this evening as Celtic host Martin Canning's side in a rearranged Scottish Premiership match.

It is one of league leaders Celtic's three games in hand and victory would take them 11 points clear.

For Hamilton, a win could lift them into the top six and a draw - which would be their sixth on the spin - and take them seventh.

  2. Drawing positive conclusions...published at 11:00

How do you feel after watching your side play out a goalless draw? Frustrated? Stoic? Philosophical?

Does it depend on the entertainment value and/or the attacking/defensive prowess of both sides?

There were three goalless draws in Scotland's top flight at the weekend, including Aberdeen's clash against St Johnstone at Pittodrie.

"Teams in the Premier League down south get praise lavished on them when they work hard to keep bigger clubs at bay," said St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright.

"Do it here in Scotland and it is regarded as negative football, but it's not."

What do you think? Are goalless draws against bigger clubs worthy of praise?

What do you think about the decision facing Scott Brown? Should the midfielder remain part of Scotland manager Gordon Strachan's plans?

  10. Brown to decide Scotland future after festive runpublished at 09:20

Celtic midfielder Scott Brown is mulling over his international future. Brown came out of Scotland retirement to feature in last month's World Cup qualifying defeat by England at Wembley.

Is he tempted to remain part of Gordon Strachan's plans?

"I will obviously make my decision before that squad [for the qualifier against Slovenia on 26 March] is named and I've told Gordon we will speak in January about it," said the Celtic midfielder.

"This is the big month for me as far as that's concerned. If I can get through these eight games in December feeling good, then it turns my head a wee bit [towards Scotland].

"But if injuries creep in and my body feels a bit tight, then it pushes it the other way.

"I'll see how it is after December 31 and see how I feel after six or seven days off and then the mid-season training camp. There are so many games this month that it will batter my body, but I am feeling good right now.

"I feel fit and I want to continue the way I am now. I don't want to be just as 85% or 90% every week."

  11. What's on the back pages?published at 09:10

    • Scott Brown will decide his Scotland future following Celtic's hectic festive fixture schedule. The midfielder ended his international retirement to feature in last month's World Cup qualifying defeat against England.
    • Rangers are far from out of the Premiership title race this season, according to striker Kenny Miller. The forward says league leaders Celtic are unbeaten but not unbeatable.
    • The SFA's performance director role is a poisoned chalice, according to former Scotland U-21s boss Billy Stark. However, Stark believes Malky Mackay has the credentials to succeed in the role.
    • Tommy Wright says his St Johnstone side deserve plaudits for holding Aberdeen to a goalless draw at the weekend. "Teams in the Premier League down south get praise lavished on them when they work hard to keep bigger clubs at bay," he said. "Do it here in Scotland and it is regarded as negative football, but it's not."

  12. Miller plots Rangers progresspublished at 09:03

Kenny Miller insists Rangers will keep chasing Premiership leaders Celtic but knows his side must first build momentum with a sequence of wins.

Having played three fewer games, unbeaten Celtic are eight points better off than their Glasgow rivals. "We will never give in until it's done," said veteran striker Miller.

"But for us it's about finding that consistent form and putting a run together. If that happens, then you never know."

Rangers sit second after back-to-back home wins against closest challengers Hearts and Aberdeen but Mark Warburton's side are yet to win three-in-a-row in the league this season.
