Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri: “It was a difficult match we knew that but we were in control, the match was equal. Suddenly from a long kick from their keeper and we reacted a little late they were able to score.

“After that we were a little nervous and they controlled the match much better.

“Nothing is right, nothing is easy but we must continue to work hard and be very attentive in the little detail. Only the little details make us down. We have to react as soon as possible.

“We have to work and react that is our medicine. We will try to do our best again.

“We have to stay together. We wanted to give a good present to our fans but it wasn’t possible and we will try with the next match.

“What a year. Everything was right for the first six months and now everything is wrong. We have to fight.”

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Sport:"They’re an outstanding team but that being said, we were well in the game. It's frustrating for us. You can’t be too upbeat about getting beaten 3-0 but there were fine margins and many elements of our game-plan worked. They scored their first goal out of the blue, without any real sustained period of pressure, and the second goal just after half-time was the decisive moment. 

"The players stuck to what we asked them to do really well. We showed our quality and our moments were there but unfortunately their goalkeeper did well when called upon. They have individuals of such quality that we couldn't keep them quiet the whole of the game."

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "In the end we had to be patient against a well-organised West Brom side. They were tenacious, well-organised and we needed to keep patient and not make a defensive mistake. When you don't score early, you can't rush.

"We had a high level of possession, plenty of shots at goal and we needed something special in the end. It was a special cross and a special header. 

"We knew we had to win today after two disappointing defeats."

West Brom keeper Ben Foster: "It is disappointing to lose any game, but to keep Arsenal at bay for so long and then lose with a few minutes left it is horrible. 

"You know you're going to come here and, as a keeper, you're going to to be busy. The lads in front of me were brilliant. But fair play to Olivier Giroud - it was a great header and a great goal. 

"Now we've got big games against Southampton and Hull next week so we have got to forget about this and move on." 

Craig Andrew Smith: Despite deserving to get beat, was glad to see Sunderland made a game of it. Pickford again played outstanding.

Ben, London: Very poor of Conte not to give Michy some decent playing time today! Sure, the rest put in a great performance but you'd want your backup striker to get some game time when opportunities come along. 

Everton

Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori: "After the derby defeat it hurt us a lot, but we had to keep playing and we did a brilliant job. We kept a clean sheet and scored twice against strong opponents - we deserved it."

Arsenal matchwinner Olivier Giroud: "It was a very good cross from Mesut Ozil and I just tried to finish the job. Today we were strong together, a strong mentality, it was important to win today and we showed a lot of strength. 

"At home you have to win and even more so after two disappointing results so it was a very important game - we needed the three points. It is a big relief."

Four Premier League wins in a row for Manchester United, who are edging themselves into a tussle at the top. The highlight of the game was Henrikh Mkhitaryan's ludicrous flicked goal, even though he was offside.

West Ham's most emphatic win of the season lifts them all the way up to 11th. Bob Bradley and his team have that familiar sinking feeling.

Leicester in big bother. Everton up to seventh as it stands.

Not the prettiest, but certainly important. Arsenal fought to the end to see of West Brom and move back up to third (temporarily at least).
