    Burnley 0-0 Middlesbrough

The booking count is up to eight now at Turf Moor. We're still awaiting the first goal, though. At the moment it is difficult to see where that might come from.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth might have seen plenty of the ball - but they haven't done much with it. And Chelsea have Eden Hazard. The Belgian has been brilliant this afternoon, and dances into space on the right again. This time he fires wide of the far post.

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

While this game remains just 1-0, Sunderland will continue to feel they can get something out of it. And United are likely to get increasingly nervous. The away side win a corner which is fed to the near post for Victor Anichebe but just nicked away from his toes by a United defender.

That is the cue for United to send on Anthony Martial for Juan Mata.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea are cruising at home to Bournemouth, but the away side have actually had more possession than their lofty hosts, now nine points clear at the top of the league (with Liverpool still to play later of course).

The Cherries have been neat, tidy and maybe too nice?

Harry Arter, Jack Wilshere and Adam Smith each had 100% passing accuracy in the first half, but that's now dropping south of 90% as Eddie Howe's side begin to realise they must take more risks.

    Arsenal 0-0 West Brom

Petr, Petr, Petr... You lucky boy. Arsenal keeper Cech drops a clanger when he can't hold onto Chris Brunt's corner, the ball dropping to Claudio Yacob at the far stick.

But, as you would expect from a man who has scored once in 128 league games, the Argentine spanks the ball over the bar. Chin over it!

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

This won't help Swansea's cause. Jefferson Montero has been stretchered off. He injured himself in the incident with Nordtveit a few minutes ago. He'd only come on as a sub at half-time as well. Nothing is going right for Bob Bradley.

Antonio Conte is as animated as ever on the touchline. Intense.

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

Swansea are knocking at the door now. Fernando Llorente's chipped cross is met by the head of Gylfi Sigurdsson but the effort is tipped over by Darren Randolph.

  9. EFL updatepublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2016

Huddersfield have just got themselves back level thanks to a mistake in the Nottingham Forest backline, Burton are still drawing 1-1 at Aston Villa and Rotherham are 3-1 up at home to Wigan in a match you can hear on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.

It's a busy afternoon in the EFL too, and you can follow it all here.

    Leicester 0-1 Everton

Time for a change. And it is two for the price of one. On comes Riyad Mahrez and Leonardo Ulloa for the home side.

And Ulloa almost repays Claudio Ranieri instantly, heading Danny Simpson's clipped cross into Joel Robles' hands.

Two big lads up top for Leicester now. Stick it in the mixer!

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

Khaihid De Bruyne: Pogba always seems to turn up against the smaller teams, when will he have an impact on the bigger games?

Mufc Believer: Game's screaming for Martial or Rashford upfront. Zlatan doesn't have to play every week.

Michael Devlin: The extra time off between matches has not been good for Ibra.

They clearly don't look alike but Jose Mourinho and David Moyes must be thinking along similar lines at Old Trafford today.

Both are wearing thick dark coats, neither has anything on their head - Moyes does have a hood - both have dark trousers, both are patrolling their technical areas and both have sent their substitutes out to warm-up.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2016

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

Superb stop from Jordan Pickford! Zlatan Ibrahimovic has the chance to put daylight between the two sides after being found in the box by Juan Mata. The striker has only to beat the keeper, but is foiled by Pickford's outstretched boot. Brilliant.

    Swansea 0-2 West Ham

Swansea scream for a penalty as Jefferson Montero tumbles in the box during a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge with Havard Nordtveit. The referee briefly gives them hope but his arm is pointed at the six-yard box for a goal-kick.

    Arsenal 0-0 West Brom

Arsenal have had nearly 80% possession, 16 attempts on goal, but still there's no way past Ben Foster in the West Brom goal.

    Arsenal 0-0 West Brom

Any sign of that Arsenal goal yet? Nope. Little under half an hour for them to find it.

A break in play as Gunners left-back Kieran Gibbs comes off worst as he clatters into Claudio Yacob. And he gets booked for his efforts.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2016

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

Big cheers from the home fans for the return of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has missed the last couple of games through injury. He is on for Jesse Lingard.

He is immediately into the game, curling a shot wide from the edge of the box. Picking up where he left off.

Nervously looking over your shoulders yet Leicester fans? Your title-winning team is just three points clear of the dropzone as it stands. And you're showing little sign of clawing your way back into this game. A few high balls into the Everton box is about as good as it has got.

    Burnley 0-0 Middlesbrough

Boro have an opportunity to test home keeper Tom Heaton. They do just that but it is a primary school level examination as Gaston Ramírez's tame free-kick hoops nicely into his grasp.
