It was a poor challenge from Wes Morgan. Maybe that could be a turning point for Leicester City this season - we were talking about that before the game and that could be one. When he gave away that careless penalty you thought 'here we go again.'

Big save by Kasper Schmeichel. He guesses correctly and holds Joaquin Correa's penalty. It wasn't the best of spot kicks, but that could prove big for Leicester.

Wes Morgan! What is he thinking? He dives in on Joaquin Correa and hacks him down. That's a penalty no question...

    Sevilla 0-0 Leicester

Questionable defending by Leicester again as Samir Nasri's corner cuts through the body of players in the box and someone gets a flick towards goal but Kasper Schmeichel is alert and holds the ball.

    All Sevilla at the moment.

    Porto 0-0 Juventus

Long-time readers (as in from 19:00 GMT tonight) will have read earlier on this page that these two teams are all about their defences. That's proving very much the case with no real chances so far.

    Lads, communication!

Christian Fuchs almost heads beyond his own keeper as he stoops to cushion a cross back to where he thinks Kasper Schmeichel is, problem being Schmeichel isn't there.

Fortunately for the visitors, Schmeichel reacts quickly to twist his body and get a hand to the ball.

    A heart-in-mouth moment for a second there.

They will spend large parts of the game without possession against this strong Sevilla side. When they win the ball, they have got to find enough quality to get the ball into Mahrez, who has taken up some good positions already. What you notice already, is that Mahrez and Vardy are working really hard up front. Leicester need that from their front men.

Oof, a warning shot by Sevilla.

Leicester defenders back off Pablo Sarabia just outside the area and the midfielder fancies having a pop. He hits a curling effort that lands just on top of the net.

Decent start by the hosts, who are backed up by a vocal support. An intimidating atmosphere for the visitors.

Riyad Mahrez is playing just behind Jamie Vardy, an attacking pair that put the frighteners up most sides last season. Not had much chance to see the pair yet tonight with Sevilla in possession, although ex-Stoke man Steven N'Zonzi has just had his pocket pinched by Danny Drinkwater.

I think Drinkwater's found it difficult without Kante next to him. He started the season well but I've watched him for the last couple of weeks and he's not in good form. He needs to get back to basics - simplify his game.

Those glorious notes of the Champions League anthem blast out of the speakers at Sevilla as the two teams walk out onto the pitch.

    Great atmosphere.

Jamie Vardy has ditched the flip flops and got his boots on. Let's hope they are of the shooting variety.

    Spanish La Liga

Valencia condemn Real Madrid to only their second La Liga defeat of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one back for the visitors, but goals from Simone Zaza and Fabian Orellana were enough for Valencia to take all three points.

Real remain one point ahead of Barcelona with a game in hand.

What were you doing on 10 December? I was opening the door on my advent calendar. Got a chocolate sock if I remember. A great day.

The 10th December is significant for Leicester because that's the last time one of Riyad Mahrez or Jamie Vardy managed a goal.

A year ago today they had bagged 34 goals between them. This season they've got just 13.

    Sevilla v Leicester (19:45 GMT)

It is good to see the Leicester players laughing and joking - hopefully that shows that spirits are high. Claudio Ranieri is also all smiles as he speaks to BT Sport pre-match.

"This is a big match for us," he said. "We are underdogs. Sevilla for 10 years have had fantastic achievements but we are OK. We are strong and hopefully we can show our football.

"I am always positive, I always believe in my players. I'd like for us to score a goal because it is important to do that when you are away but also I do not like to concede a goal."
