    There's a trend across today's matches.

    Reunions.

Sam Allardyce faces the club where he was a saviour, Tony Pulis heads back to Stoke where he was once the main man, Sean Dyche's Burnley play Watford - the club Dyche played for and managed, and Steve McClaren travels back to St James' Park where he was... erm... not so successful.

West Ham's Jose Fonte and Stoke's Saido Berahino are also two notable players facing their former clubs today.

So we're asking for the best and worst footballing reunions you can remember.

When did a player return to your club and get sent off? Or perhaps a player from your club scored at the wrong end against his former team-mates?

    Hull v Liverpool (15:00 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

Liverpool's dwindling levels were lifted by Tuesday's draw with Chelsea, but it won't do to follow that with anything less than a win here.

They haven't had one to cheer the last three times they've been the whole miserable length of the M62 to Hull and back.

The anger Hull fans feel towards their club's owners has by no means abated, but with a rare full house set to watch a host of new signings, this could have a 'new season, fresh start' feel - and Marco Silva deserves the credit.

In just a month, he's brought a level of optimism that - due to summer upheaval and uncertainty - wasn't even around when the season started well for Mike Phelan's team.

Winger Kamil Grosicki and on-loan Villarreal midfielder Alfred N'Diaye could both make their Hull debuts.

Striker Dieumerci Mbokani is available after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, but Ahmed Elmohamady is still on international duty with Egypt.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a near fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of the trip to Hull.

Forward Sadio Mane could make his first start since 2 January after returning as a substitute against Chelsea.

    Liverpool

Liverpool have yet to win a league game in 2017 - yet they could climb to second if they win at Hull.

If the Reds don't pocket three points then they will be winless in their opening five league matches of a calendar year for the first time since 1954.

That's a very, very long time ago.

Antonio Conte's transformation of Diego Costa and David Luiz is astonishing.

Arsene's Wenger's admission that his players weren't mentally prepared for Watford was equally gobsmacking.

He surely must play Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez up front, with Hector Bellerin recalled. They need quick thinking. Otherwise it'll be Chelsea's day and title.

A Chelsea win will end Arsenal's title challenge. The Gunners are in the last chance saloon where t, externalhe fat lady is about to go quiet!

When Arsenal thumped the Blues 3-0 on 24 September they were three points ahead of their rivals after six games.

A defeat here will leave them 12 points behind them after the subsequent 18 matches - an astonishing swing.

Just over two hours before the big heavyweight showdown of the weekend begins as leaders Chelsea look to go 12 points clear at the top - by all but ending Arsenal's title hopes.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte must decide whether to recall winger Pedro, who lost his place to Willian for Tuesday's draw at Liverpool.

Conte also has the option of selecting ex-Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas if he opts for a more attacking line-up.

Arsenal hope Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will pass fitness tests, while Danny Welbeck may return after being rested in midweek.

  11. Will the new boys shine?published at 10:00 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February 2017

Lots of players set to make their debuts later following Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Among those to watch out for are Burnley's new record signing from Norwich Robbie Brady at Watford.

Southampton's £14m signing Manolo Gabbiadini, who scored in each of his past three games for Napoli,is set to feature against West Ham.

Crystal Palace fans, however, may have to wait for Mamadou Sakho to make an appearance as the loan signing from Liverpool lacks match fitness.

West Brom v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

    Stoke City

What sort of reception will Saido Berahino get off West Brom fans?

The 23-year-old striker could make his first Stoke City start against his former club at The Hawthorns.

Berahino served an eight-week suspension before he left West Brom, with newspaper reports claiming he was banned after failing an out-of-competition drugs test.

"Why wouldn't I play him?" said Stoke boss Mark Hughes. "He is in line to be involved."

    This could get tasty.

Do you remember what you were doing 278 days ago?

Leicester City's players were throwing the mother of all parties after being crowned champions of England. Yet Claudio Ranieri's side could drop into the relegation zone this weekend.

It will require Crystal Palace beating Sunderland, Swansea avoiding defeat at Manchester City (Sunday, 13:30 GMT) and Manchester United beating the Foxes (Sunday, 16:00 GMT) for it to happen.

Talk about the party falling flat.
