For all Liverpool have dominated possession, you can't fault Hull. They have been disciplined and organised and got a result.

Liverpool are feeling the pace. There are a lot of leggy players out there.

Former Leicester and Man Utd forward on Final Score

I don't know how Hull have scored. Liverpool are attacking, at the edge of Hull's box. One pass beats the entire team. Dreadful defending.

Hull have been terrible all season, but the new manager has turned them around, and all of their big players are performing.

    Oumar Niasse

Hull are in dreamland. And just to rub salt into Liverpool's wounds, on-loan Everton forward Oumar Niasse is the scorer as the striker keeps his composure after being put clean through.

    Hull 1-0 Liverpool

Still no sign of a Liverpool goal. This has been dreadful from the Reds. Divock Origi is getting ready to come on.

  11. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Hull 1-0 Liverpool

James Milner skies an effort well over the Hull bar. Jurgen Klopp is really not happy and shouts something in the player's direction. Milner shouts something back at Klopp. The Liverpool dressing room is going to be lively after this game.

    Hull 1-0 Liverpool

Chris Waddle is spot on. This has been very poor by Liverpool. Time is running out for the Reds.

For all of the possession Liverpool have had one or two chances but overall Hull have defended very well. Liverpool have not really hurt Hull.

  14. CLOSE!published at 67 mins

    Hull 1-0 Liverpool

Liverpool need a goal. Daniel Sturridge is on for Emre Can. Philippe Coutinho wastes another chance to equalise after pinball inside the Hull area. Hull have everyone back defending.

Why didn't Liverpool sign anyone in January? They obviously needed to freshen things up. So frustrating to see this after such a good start to the season.

Great counter-attack again by Hull. Hernandez's first touch just lets him down at times.

  17. CLOSE!published at 65 mins

    Hull 1-0 Liverpool

Is that the turning point? Liverpool's defence is sliced wide open and Abel Hernandez is clean through with only Simon Mignolet to beat. The Liverpool keeper redeems himself with a fine save.

Seventeen-year-old Josh Tymon is on for Hull. What a moment for the teenager. Off goes Evandro.

Liverpool have forced 10 corners. They haven't been able to find the net from any of them. The last time they failed to score in a Premier League match? Away to Southampton on 19 November. Half an hour to go.
