Hull are competing. As soon as Liverpool get the ball they are staying 10 men behind the ball.

Hernandez should stay high up the field because Hull have no-one to hit. It is a high tempo game. Hull are doing a really good job.

When Hull played a back three against Chelsea, they had so many bodies back in position.

When they have won the ball back they have not been lumping it forward, they have tried to get it down and try and work their way out.

Four points from three games for Hull City under Marco Silva and defender Curtis Davies says the team's improved form is down to having very few days off.

"We didn't know too much about the manager before he came in," Davies told BBC Radio 5 live. "He's young, hungry and knows the modern game.

"He's meticulous. I think we've had two days off this calendar year. The manager is getting the best out of us and the performances are getting better."

Liverpool's dwindling levels were lifted by Tuesday's draw with Chelsea, but it won't do to follow that with anything less than a win here.

They haven't had one to cheer the past three times they've been the whole miserable length of the M62 to Hull and back.
