That was an absolutely brilliant goal from Chelsea. Superb clinical finish from Pedro.

The warning signs were there. There was a similar run from Hazard just before but no mistake this time from Pedro.

A good response from the hosts sees Ashley Barnes get a shot away from 20 yards but it's a routine save for Thibaut Courtois.

    Pedro

It's hugely impressive. Chelsea are head and shoulders clear of the rest of the Premier League at the moment and they score from a throw-in level with their own penalty area.

A touch from Ngolo Kante finds Pedro, who plays it inside and it's then pinged out to Victor Moses on the right. His touch is good and sends him clear of the scrambling Burnley backline. He has the nous to find Pedro on his inside and he steers home confidently.

It was made to look easy...

First chance! Diego Costa drops off and receives the ball, one touch to control and Eden Hazard has already made the burst in behind. Costa finds him with a lovely pass, Hazard is in on goal - but duffs his shot easily at Tom Heaton.

    Burnley 0-0 Chelsea

The merits or otherwise of this Chelsea system have been much discussed but one tangible benefit is that it seems to allow more players in the opponents' half.

Cesar Azpilicueta joins into the midfield and stays there for an extended spell, but Burnley stand firm.

The snow is still falling, lightly. David Luiz has tied his mane into a ponytail this afternoon. Not sure if that's conditions based or location.

A new look. The free-kick doesn't find him though.

Michael Keane goes through to beat Diego Costa easily to their first header. That's a feather in the defender's cap. Joey Barton then trips the Brazilian Spaniard out on the wing. The home fans enjoy that.

Burnley as a whole club are developing really well. I can't praise the job Sean Dyche has done enough. He has done exceptionally well with this group of players.

Dyche knows he has to be play this way, disciplined at he back with a good gameplan, and the fact he has been able to realise that and execute it is a real credit to himself and players.

Diego Costa scored his first Chelsea goal against the Clarets and he looks well up for this. He hasn't scored for three games. Verging on drought territory.

Here we go. It's got to be the tightest tunnel in the Premier League, and with 30-odd players and a shedload of mascots to pack in it's steaming up the camera lens.

Nathaniel Chalobah, who had a loan spell at Burnley, reacquaints himself with the Clarets. Handshakes all round.

I tipped Chelsea to win league so I am giving myself a pat on the back. What he did with the Italy squad in the summer was fantastic.

Great players don't become bad players overnight.

Football is such a people's game and if the team spirit gets distinguished it is difficult to get up for it and that is what I think happened last season.

But now he has players playing in perfect positions.

It is a great opportunity for Robbie Brady and Ashley Westwood, to ply their trade against the best team in the Premier League this season.

They will be really up for this.

Both players play on that left side of the midfield and will have to deal with Victor Moses, Pedro and Ngolo Kante.

It will be interesting to watch.

Burnley's home form is stupendous - and you can still get 8/1 on them to win at the bookies! That's how fancied Chelsea are.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on MOTD2 Extra

Here's Keown's view on Sunderland's upcoming team bonding trip to New York.

Sometimes players just want be to away from each other.

I think it might be best just to lead their own lives for a while and come back together afterwards.

We're footballers not tourists. There is plenty of time for that when you're retired.
